Thompson Denver, by Hyatt

I stayed at the Thompson Denver in October 2025 to attend a large conference at the Denver Convention Ceter. I'm a Marriott Platinum Lifetime memeber, however, due to the convention in town, all Marriott properties were full and I found this hotel through the conference link. What a fantatsic place! This property far and away exceeds many of the best Marriott properties I typically stay at for business, including the Westin and W brands. Wonderful staff, rooms that are inviting, contemporary, and absolutely comfortable - great beds and bedding as well as pillows, and bathrooms with top shelf amenities. Snacks in the room, on-site restaurant with their own Chef and the food was outstanding. I will go out of my way on future business trips to find a Thompson Hotel by Hyatt in the future based on this experience!!

Very nice hotel and centrally located in Denver with access to restaurants and the train station. More expensive than average hotels and the wow factor was just not there.

This is my second stay at Thompson Denver and won't be my last. As a Hyatt Globalist, I appreciate hotels that recognize those benefits and make it seamless and easy. From the the check-in, to suite upgrade, to delicious breakfast at Chez Maggy, everything is what you would expect from an upscale urban hotel. The Mile High suite was spectacular and the staff very helpful and friendly. This will be my go to hotel for future stays in Denver.

Overall, we love the Thompson Hotel and have stayed there many times, but we left quite disappointed tbh. This stay will be our last, as on Friday night, they were holding "Drag Bingo" as hotel entertainment. Many families and young kids were staying at the hotel while we were there, and in our opinion, there are a million other entertainment ideas that dont involve dressing in drag. My fatigue with activities like this is unfortunately very real.

Excellent location. Nice rooms with many amenities. Loved the onsite restaurant, coffee bar and lounge area.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit our son in Denver. We just love the service, the location and the people that are always ready to help us out.
