Thompson Denver, by Hyatt

Great location ,service was exceptional ,and my rooming was amazing. The location was great for going to see a football game which is what we were there but also baseball. There's tons of restaurants and 15 min walk to bus and train stations. Chris Angel was who checked us in and out. He also gave good recommendations on restaurants on the area. The brunch place he recommended two doors down was excellent. Scott our doorman was excellent also . He gave different options for transportation in the area. Our room was amazing. We had a corner room with great views , very open ,nice size shower and sink. Also had bath accessories which the NYC Thompson didn't have which surprised me. This will be our hotel spot whenever we go to Denver again.

We were doing a staycation and loved our stay at this hotel. The room was classy and comfortable, and service at Bar M was outstanding.

Always love my stays at this hotel

I was torn between a couple of hotels, and when I called the Thompson to ask a booking question, I was instantly sold. The front desk staff truly went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. Never have I experienced staff that is so professional, kind, and personable. They were the best part of our experience at the Thompson; the hotel is just beautiful, and the restaurant's food is delicious, so that says a lot! The size of the room felt a little small, but the quality of the design materials, and the staff made up for that by far!

The hotel was pretty and clean. The rooms were new and very fresh. The hotel itself is in a decent area and very close to some local bars, which we walked to every night. For the most part we felt safe, but we are from Portland so we are probably immune. Our only disappointment in the hotel was the breakfast and breakfast staff, very slow, and not good quality food at all.

The room was gorgeous, but small. Chez Maggy had a wonderful Sunday brunch. I’d go back just for the shower. Great location with many options within walking distance.

Some staff members were extremely rude and disrespectful.

The mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on.

My wife and I were excited for a weekend away in Denver and I had booked the Mile High Suite with cash + points. I am new to the Hyatt rewards program after holding Lifetime Elite status with Marriott and Hilton. We checked in and got to our room and it was a very small room. I was a bit confused as to how this small room could possible be a suite so I called down to the front desk. She said I was in a suite and I said "really? this is a suite???" She then confessed that it was a "corner king" and it was every bit as good as the Mile High Suite. It was a laughable comment. The suite was booking for $1500 a night that weekend and so obviously she had given the room to someone else and tried to sneak it past us at checkin and then lie about it over the phone. We still had paid $350+ as well as points redemption but the upgrade was the entire reason I booked there, otherwise I would've stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Apologies were made and I was told I would get my points back but there was no offer of monetary compensation. Still haven't heard back from them and haven't seen anything on my card or account. Super disappointing to say the least.
