Stayed here last weekend—we got a Two Queens Bedroom with City View. Check-in was easy, they gave us each a welcome drink of sparkling wine. The hotel itself is nice and clean—so was our room. Room had the usual amenities: safe, fridge, snacks (for charge), robes, some toiletries, etc. The small fridge was stocked with drinks (for charge) so there wasn’t much space to put our stuff, unless we took theirs out. They did have complimentary bottles of water and a coffee machine. Overall, the room felt too dark, not enough lighting—and the wall is painted an olive green so that didn’t help. The room gives off a cabin in the wood vibe. The bathroom is nice, shower is great, but the sink is structurally odd—the faucet doesn’t extend out into the sink far enough so you’re splashing water all over the counter. And there are no rails to hang your hand or bath towels, only hooks on the wall. Also, the bathroom doesn’t have enough lighting either, the light behind the mirror was too dim. Lobby level they have a restaurant and bar, both were enjoyable. Had $60 credit for breakfast each day—Chez Maggy was delicious! Bartenders at Bar M made great cocktails, and it’s an energetic vibe in the evening—but they close fairly early, winding down around 11pm. Overall, it’s a good hotel. And valet service ($64 overnight) was great!

Amazing place to stay in downtown Denver

The Thompson Denver is a lovely hotel, rooms are really nice and there is ample chill out areas in the lobby as well as a bar and restaurant. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. The showers are huge and offer products by D.S Durga which smell amazing. Room service is available from 7am - 11pm. The location is super central with 16th Street Mall running alongside the hotel and Larimar Street a block away. There are ample restaurants and shops to explore.

Valet entrance is on Market Street and needs to be navigated by a bus lane, if a bus happens to be approaching, the bus drivers get heavy on the horn! Also note Google Maps entrance is on 16th Street which is incorrect for valet and hotel pedestrian access, they are both located on Market Street 9(cnr 16th Street).

Overall a great place to stay. Only issue I had was finding parking elsewhere since they charged $64 per night

Excellent stay in the best part of downtown! The hotel and our room were clean and modern as well as the surrounding downtown area. Beds were so comfortable. Book a corner king room for a great view of the Rockies! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Refillable water bottles and water available throughout hotel was nice along with our welcome drink and snack hour daily. This was the perfect location to walk to Coors field, Union Station, the 16th street mall and so many stores and cute coffee shops! Do yourself a favor and book here for your next Denver stay!

Loved the location, modern and clean rooms, comfortable beds, view of the Rockies from the 9th floor king corner room was beautiful to wake up to, friendly staff, refillable water bottles and refreshing fruit infused water available all day to refill, small snacks, bar made good drinks

No fault of theirs but it would be great if there were a rooftop bar here to look at the gorgeous views of the Rockies.

Falls short of value. For this price, I expect a quiet and comfortable room. The amount of road noise is astonishing. Apparently, downtown Denver is a late night "car rally" where drivers "peacock" at all hours of the night. There was absolutely no noise reduction all the way up the 8th floor. No kitchen service past 9:00 PM as well with nothing but. a greasy pizza joint about 10 minutes away is an unsafe section of town at that hour. Do not recommend for Denver.
