DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This was by far the the worst most disgusting place ever! My shower had 3 trickels of water coming out of the filthy dirty shower head and the shower was filthy... The room was infested with dead and live bugs everywhere! Bugs were falling from the ceiling and landing on me in my bed! I even saw a few bugs come out of a hole in the wall and the light socket... They tried to give us a bagged lunch for the next day and it was a sandwich consisting of 1 piece of smelly ham between 2 pieces of stale white bread. The banana that was included was rotten on the tip. I cant believe they would even serve that. We asked to be changed rooms because of the shower and bugs but the only staff there was apathetic and told us that it wasnt his really job and he wouldn't change us. We arrived late but it was so gross that We had to leave the room around Midnight, because the bugs were so bad, and search for a new hotel. Which we found and it was great!!! Might I recommend that place instead. Its called El Mapi.

One of the most fun and enjoyable hotels I’ve stayed in. What an amazing view!! We ended up using the quadruple room with open windows all around across the town, mountain and forest. Then the breakfast on the room top terrace watching the sunset was stunning.

Beautiful hidden getaway This gem sits high above Aguas Caliente. The room we had was above the office. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The outside deck was delightful. Our breakfast included eggs to order and assorted pastries and cheeses. It was delicious to enjoy overlooking the city. It should be noted that there are over 100 stairs to get to this paradise. As well, there are light sensors outside the rooms, which are great for navigating but the window shades are thin. Lovely place to navigate this city.

The hotel should mention there are around 200 steps to hike. Being already in the mountains of over 2400m and having to hike additional 200 steps is a big ordeal when is hard to catch your breath. I barely reached the lobby to decide my family couldn't stay for that reason. When I canceled the hotel mentioned they couldn't do any refund because it was less than 24hrs policy, so they kept the whole night amount. They mentioned that a mountain view room expects some hike which is misleading because we are already in the mountains and there isn't any mention of the around 200 steps hike and there isn't any way to realize until you get there on the same booking day.

Very nice viewa. Everything was good except they couldn't accommodate us for breakfast as we had to leave by 5:30am.

The location is pretty unique! The staff is really pleasant. Note, this place is made for people who’re physically fit, otherwise you won’t be able to get to your room up many-many stairs and no elevator

I usually don’t write reviews, but I want people to be able to make an informed decision. It is a trek up A LOT of stairs to get to the hotel. Along the stairs is pretty sketchy, going down a secluded alley. Once you finally get up to the “hotel” you are greeted by absolutely no one. We had to wait an hour outside for a receptionist to check us in, to arrive to a room that was visibly dirty across from what seemed to be a very noisy plumbing system, the toilet didn’t work, no air conditioning, dead bugs on furniture, nails through the ceiling from whatever was placed on the floor above, water stains on the ceiling, and misleading photos from Expedia that the view outside was actually of the tin roofs of the locals houses. NOT of any waterways or “jungle” like experience. Staff finally showed up to fix the toilet, which was another hour process, to be unsuccessful and have us wait an additional 30 minutes to switch rooms into one directly in the lobby…. Shower water was mostly cold to luke warm at best. Absolutely no wifi, so I couldn’t even book a different hotel. No staff at night or in the morning either. Typically I check the mattress in hotels for bedbugs, but the experience was so bad, that I didn’t want to make my night worse by finding out. I would have rather slept outside with the stray dogs. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for.
