Jumeirah Muscat Bay

The Jumeirah Muscat Bay is by far my most favourite hotel in Muscat. It is such a lovely break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, the service was excellent and the food was delicious (and an improvement on my last stay). It was a pleasure to interact with smiley and helpful staff, who responded to any request or question promptly and with kindness. Excellent standard of hygiene too.

Thank you for a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. A special thank you goes to the outstanding hotel staff – an exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional team. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and both the sports and kids’ facilities exceeded expectations, leaving nothing to be desired. We were also very grateful for the immediate help and support we received when our daughter became unwell, which made us feel very safe and well cared for. We will definitely come again!

Very modern.

All was good. There are just Hotels that are better in Maskat.

We decided to follow through with our holiday despite obvious regional difficulties which were evidenced by the hotel being at most 25% occupied. This resulted in some facilities being curtailed but in most cases the hotel management had planned adequately and so enjoyment was not materially affected. Certainly the senior management, Gianluca and Ninnja, seemed dedicated to client satisfaction and enjoyment and that attitude was also evident in staff around the hotel. We had a Club Balcony Ocean View room which was very nice and featured a particularly nice bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. Slight negatives were limited drawer space (which was unfortunate as several of the drawers were 'under counter' which meant depth should not have been limited) and the lack of any useful light on the balcony (beautiful warm evenings deserve to be enjoyed outside and this would be a good place after dinner). The room was very well serviced morning and evening. The beach is beautifully set in a spectacular bay; obviously sunbeds were plentiful - the service on the beach was very good with Pavan particularly helpful. As the Club room was temporarily closed we had the choice of taking breakfast in Peridot or our room (at no charge); in the event we found the Peridot breakfast excellent and did not vary from that. Peridot only offered a buffet during evenings - we aren't keen on buffets although management and chefs were keen to make us additional dishes we preferred, very kind. Zuka was only open until 18.00. which was a shame as it is beautifully situated and would have been nice in the evening. On the other hand Brezza was open six evenings per week and is a very nice restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating; both service (thanks Simran!) and food are of a very high standard. Luxury hotels in Oman are not cheap but the location, service and quality at Muscat Bay tend to justify that. We will be back!

Jumeirah Muscat Bay is the best! The people that work there make the biggest difference. Everyone is kind, respectful, helpful and very accomodating. Would strongly recommend! Special shoutout to Samaher from the hospitality team and Santiago from the Brezza restaurant for all the help and coordination!

The property is nice , however old carpets in the reception , unorganised and didn't feel welcoming when checking in

We were told we ca check in from 12pm , we arrived just before 3 pm , we had to wait an hour , in reception !! Then they forgot about the cake which I messaged property before for my husbands bday , and cake came later after I informed them by message , cake was very small and had nothing on. By the time we got to the pool , the pool bar was closed and no drinks were served nor food snacks ,
