Was nothing to complain

The hosts were absolutely delightful and the apartment was well fitted out with numerous small treats (coffee, tea, biscuits, sweets) in the kitchen area. The bed was comfortable.

The room was advertised as having a balcony - this was unfortunately up another (steep) flight of stairs, was tiny, and was shared with the other apartment. The interior of the apartment was all dark pine which was a little bit gloomy. I also found it noisy in the late evening but, as the room was in the old quarter of Chania, that was to be expected.
