Casa di Portou No3

Ottima posizione grande accoglienza

The location of Casa di Portou was perfect, right in the centre of the old town. On our days exploring Chania, we passed the property a few times so could just pop in if we wanted to pick sth up or change clothes, which was very convenient. The host, Pavlos, as well as his son Dimitris who runs the jewellery store on the ground floor of the building, were very helpful and answered all our queries without any delay. Although we had a rather late check-in time (around 22:00), this seemed to be no problem at all. We felt very welcome and loved the quirky nature and cosiness of the old town house. Sadly, we didn't have much time to sit on the adjacent balcony, but that was also very nice, with an interesting view towards the harbour over the old town. We also loved the bathroom and shower which were quite unusual and very clean. All in all a delightful stay. If we manage to return to Chania in the future (we would love to!), we will certainly check out this place again. Thank you for being very kind and helpful hosts, Pavlos, and Dimitris!

Nothing. :-) Everything met or exceeded our expectations. We were quite enchanted with the property and would have liked to stay longer.

I proprietari sono stati sempre molto gentili, disponibili e presenti per ogni necessità. L’appartamento lo abbiamo trovato ben pulito e comodo per ogni necessità durante il soggiorno.

Scomoda la scala per accedere all’appartamento. Ed avremmo preferito fosse più silenzioso.

Everything was handmade by the host and his family. Place was beautiful and cozy.
