JW Marriott Hotel Guadalajara

Great service, amazing staff. Nice and clean, i love staying here i come here every month. Food is great, gym and polo. Everything is great here.

After 2 weeks at the property the service and customer service is top notch. The attention to detail and the staff’s teamwork creates a welcoming atmosphere rare at other hotels. Monica, Eduardo and Giovanni are superb!!! Looking forward to the rest of my stay!!!

My friends and I had a great time at the JW Marriott in Guadalajara. Starting our days off with breakfast at the hotel with Alex was awesome. It was a great way to start our days.

We had a wonderful experience at JW Marriott. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. Great restaurant at walking distance.

Was a nice experience , pretty personal as it was not busy given time of day. Israel was very attentive and provided superb services. I frequent the hotel and given busy schedule, it’s a solid option when in Guadalajara at JW Marriott when you don’t want to or cannot get out to venture. Will be back.

As a Platinum Elite Bonvoy member, I’ve stayed at JW Marriott properties across the U.S. and internationally—Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Monterrey, many of them multiple times. Unfortunately, this was the only negative experience I’ve had with the JW brand. It started when I took a Pepsi from the Executive Lounge and was quickly told that beverages needed to be ordered from the pool bar. While I understand the policy, the pool bar was unattended for over an hour. After asking another bar for assistance, I was told it “should” be open and sent back upstairs—only to continue waiting. Someone eventually arrived to help, but the delay and miscommunication were frustrating. The day before, my wife was supervising our daughter—a high school track athlete—while she jogged on the treadmill. A staff member came in and said she couldn’t work out because she was under 18. While I understand age restrictions, the situation could have been handled more professionally given the context. Then, the next evening, we were sitting on the Executive Lounge patio when we were asked to remove the cushions from the furniture because of potential rain. It wasn’t raining at the time, and we were told we could remain seated—just without the cushions. The interaction felt unnecessary and disruptive. Individually, these may seem like small issues, but together they reflect a property that prioritizes rigid policy enforcement over guest experience, which is not what I expect from a JW Marriott. Even though the points system brought me here, I should have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara. Their service and hospitality were top notch the last time I visited—and this stay reminded me of that.

Great experience, food was delicious with many different options available. Jose, the waiter was very helpful and provided great service.
