Orchard Point

Ideal location. Nice, clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you’d need. Arrival instructions are nice and clear, we arrived at 11:30pm and left at 5am which in some places would be a real issue but we managed to get in and out without a problem. Located right in the middle of the city with easy access to pretty much everything. We were 2 guys there for work so we thought 1 bedroom might not be ideal but the couch bed thing was perfectly comfortable.

The ad says free parking but the arrival instructions tell you not to use it. It’s no big deal because there’s paid on street parking right outside (free from 8pm-8am) at £6 for 12 hours.

Really nice bottom floor flat in a decently central part of Southampton, plenty of transport and a shop just around the corner. Host was incredibly accommodating after a little booking mishap.

A little close to a pub just across the road which was slightly noisy, but usually quietened down later in the night for sleeping.

Ideal location near restaurants and pubs. The heating system was excellent. Local parking is free for blue badge holders. Ground floor no step entry.

No toilet brush or cloth to wipe surfaces. The bathroom mirror light would not turn off. If you do not have the latest smart TV, finding what to watch is rather challenging.

Noise pollution

The flat is very nice, well decorated and very clean. It offers everything you need, there's a modern heating system that works very well and excellent hot water. The bed is very comfy, with good quality pillows and duvet. The location is amazing, walking distance to the high street, many bars and restaurants.

We had an issue with the the kitchen extractor, as it wasn't working properly, but as we only cooked when we arrived, it wasn't a big issue. There was no kitchen towel available, but it was ok, as we didn't use the kitchen very much. We were on the ground floor, so we could hear the main door being slammed when people were going in/out of the building. Maybe an adjustment in the door arm could prevent this from happening.
