The good: the hotel was clean, and although the room had a bit of a smell, it was just the typical humidity of Mexico. The service was fine overall.

First, be aware that the hotel has stairs and no elevators, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Second, I felt misled by the “breakfast included” offer. The breakfast consisted of a small bowl of chopped fruit, two dry cookies, and a glass of fresh juice with coffee. To me, that’s more of a snack than a proper breakfast. If you wanted eggs or a full meal, you had to pay extra. The location was another major downside. It was extremely far from the town center—about a 30-minute walk, not along the beach, but through muddy, uneven streets. The beach path didn’t provide full access to the town, which was frustrating. Taking a taxi was 200 pesos each way, which quickly added up. Considering the extra costs for breakfast and transportation, you’re actually better off staying somewhere closer to the city. When you factor in all the additional expenses, it would likely cost you less to stay in town than at this hotel. The overall value just isn’t worth it.

Such a relaxing and peaceful place in the midst of a beautiful island. Not located in the center but definitely worth the walk.

El Nido is a true paradise. Alberto, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The pool area was lovely and peaceful, perfect for morning dips. It's just a short walk to the beach and about 25 minutes to the main town. My boyfriend and I often walked or took a taxi, which was only 200 pesos. A couple of small suggestions: a full-length mirror in the bedroom and a mini fridge for keeping drinks cool. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! X

Charming boutique hotel in a quiet but great location on Holbox. Alberto and his team were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was a continental and all homemade and if you wanted eggs or other things the food was excellent. They also offer evening meals as well. Short taxi rides for 200 pesos into the town which was vibrant and great restaurants and bars plus shops! You can walk along the beach 🏖️ for about 20 minutes and also get to the hotel. Highly recommended

Great place, lovely location and super well taken care of by Alberto. Would defo return. As for any comments about distance from town, potholes etc, it's a pleasant walk, the potholes are passable after rain, and there's a shop super close by.

Super hyggeligt lille hotel. Morgenmaden en anelse lille, men fantastisk med ny friskpresset juice hver dag. Vær opmærksom på det ligger lidt langt fra byen. Man skulle overvejer at købe et headset til rengøringen så man ikke skal høre på hendes høje musik imens hun hver dag gør rent. Vandtrykket i badet var absurd lavt. Et dejligt roligt og fredeligt hotel. Lidt hippie vibes. Latterligt at servere laks og ikke noget lokal fisk. Ikke et sted man bruger hele dagen, grundet lidt høje priser kontra kvaliteten på maden.
