Great facilities, well maintained tennis and padel courts, lovely pool, great bars and restaurants, and friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner buffets were exceptional. Cant fault it.

Limited food options outside of mealtimes.

"The beach bar music needs reviewing!"

8.0

Lovely resort, pretty gardens and friendly staff and enjoying the water sports. But why are the staff choosing the music????? The guests are mostly (not all) aged 45 to 70. Yet we are listening to euro pop more suited to a teen disco at the beach today. Totally spoiling a beautiful afternoon.

"Would recommend as a couple - 5*"

10.0

My boyfriend and I visited Aeolian Village Beach resort from 31st May - 7th June and loved it here. The resort is safe, the staff are so so warm and friendly. In particular, we'd like to thank Florence, Fotis and Giorgos on the waiting team, Olympia on the morning kitchen team, and Gioros on the pool bar. They welcomed us every day and made an effort to chat. Service was efficient but also didn't feel rushed. The best word to describe the staff here is gracious - thank you also to the lady cleaning our room, she was lovely (room 34 in the viilage). Alice and Chloe (PT staff were great as well) - we looked forward to Volleyball and Chloe's stretch flow session left me feeling like I had just woken up super relaxed. Everything is clean and safe, and as you can tell, the staff made my experience here. The beach is private and very relaxed. It was never a problem to get a sun lounger. Possible cons would be that the beach is black sand instead of white sand but we didn't mind that, especially since the beach was clean and peaceful. There were no issues with noise level. Although we didn't go into the village of Skala Erresos we heard very good things and it's only about a 10 min walk so accessible, even though Aeolian village feels like it's outside of the main tourist area. Massage prices were reasonable (didn't try ourselves) and we were happy with the value for our all-inclusive experience. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday around this time of year. Thanks Amria

"Lovely food, lovely staff"

10.0

Absolutely perfect. Very quiet and peaceful around the pool and the beach. Food was lovely with different themes every night at the restaurant. Lots of classes too which broke up the day nicely. Mike, Florence, Olympia, Fotis, and both Giorgos' were all lovely, particularly at the pool bar which served lots of great food too around lunchtime. Would love to come back again in the next year or two!

"Aeolian Village Beach Resort and area"

8.0

Our visit to Aeolian Village Beach resort took place in May 2026 partly coverng the UK May school holidays. The transfer from / to Mytilene Airport is some 55 miles but can take 2 to 3 hours as the Aeolian is one of the furthest resorts from the airport with journey being over a winding and mountainous route. We visited on a half board basis and our personal experiences of the Aeolian Village Beach Resort were quite positive. The staff in all the departments we experienced gave excellent, friendly yet professional service and were always ready to help with any issues or questions. The food provided in the main restaurant and pool side bar was of a very high standard with a wide range of available options.for all the meals. There was choice for all tastes and I would challenge anyone who said otherwise. The grounds were well maintained. Visually pleasing and relaxing. Our room, with ensuite bathroom (shower over bath) had a large comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. There was plenty of storage space with a fridge, a large complimentary bottle of water and tea and coffee facilities. We had a balcony with views over the countryside and sea which we found very relaxing. The room, whilst clean is ready for refurbishment as there were issues with leaks from the shower/bath, screen handle falling off, and the shower head was set so high it hit the ceiling when you tried to reposition it so as to direct the water better. . For the first few days there was no television service and a worse than patchy WiFi service. 2.4gb if you were lucky. These issues were mentioned to the staff and Jet2 representative and were amicably resolved. The hotel corridors are tiled as is usual in these climates. Unfortunately, on quite a few late night occasions, our sleep was disturbed by noisy and inconsiderate people. To reach the beach you have to leave the resort, cross a  track and across wooden boardwalks. The hotel is, as I understand things, privately owned with an emphasis but not exclusivity on the Mark Warner Sport and Leisure activities. Our stay was booked through Jet2 Holidays and was primarily to visit family who live on the island therefore we did not use the Mark Warner activities nor interact with their staff. I was advised by our Jet2 rep that we could purchase individual activities if we wished to fo so. The activities and facilities looked very reasonable and there were children's clubs for a wide age range. The children appeared to be enjoying their activities. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of and some 15 -20 minutes walk by beach or quiet road from the beachside village resort of Skala Eresus. The beach is of the dark grey volcanic type and surrounding areas on this west side of the island being mainly scrub grassland with a rural economy reliant on olive oil production and sheep rearing. As stated, the walk to the village is either by the beach, passing through a naturist's beach or via a rural road. The road passes over a river where many turtles and fish can be seen. It also passes a Cocktail Bar which was only open one night during our stay. Apparently the bar is very popular with festival goers. Unfortunately this route also passes by an unofficial tent encampment which is not the cleanest of places. The village itself, sits on the sea front where there about a dozen bar - restaurants.  All the staff sermed very friendly with no pressure selling The ones we tried offered good value for money. The charity quiz night at the Flamingo bar is well worth a visit. There is one very small children's arcade and a few shops catering to tourists and locals. There is also a Museum in the village. This area is popular with the LBGTQ community with a festival taking place during our visit. There is also a very popular Women's Festival which takes in September each year. We felt very safe swimming in the shallow clear waters.  With our 10 year grandaughter and friends being in their element. The whole area felt to be a very safe and relaxing place to visit.
