Metro Phoenix Extended Stay

THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND THE FACILITIES MANAGERS HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS. THEY INSISTED ON US TAKING A SECOND FLOOR APARTMENT RENTAL WHEN I CAN'T DO STAIRS, I AM MEDICALLY RETIRED MILITARY...SO THEY AFTER ARGUMENTS, MOVED ME TO A FIRST FLOOR ROOM THAT WAS FULL OF MOLD AND COCKROACHES, HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED AND DIRTY DISHES IN THE DISH WASHER, WITH BUGS AND COCKROACHES, HOW GROSS! WE LEFT THE FACILITY AND FOUND A RED ROOF INN AT I-17 AND INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD FOR THE 4 OF US AT 1AM. THEY GAVE ME A MILITARY DISCOUNT AND A FIRST FLOOR ROOM THAT WAS IMMACULATE. I STAYED THERE FOR FIVE DAYS. THE PEOPLE AT METRO HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE STAFF AND THE MANAGEMENT. THEY EVEN LIED TO US ABOUT ELEVATORS ON THE PROPERTY, NOT ONE! NEVER GIVE THEM MONEY, THEY TOOK FOREVER TO GIVE IT BACK. THIS IS NOT SLANDER, FACT! THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. THEY WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED THERE, THAT IS FOR CERTAIN!

When I arrived it was 5:20pm. Anything after 5pm requires you to call to receive an access code to your unit. There are no staff available after that time. As I looked around there were broken windows to units, people shooting up and passed out in their cars, people walking around half naked and police and ambulance on scene escorting out a confirmed over dose. The photos do not match anything on the property and since it’s not managed after hours or gated in, so many random people use it as a hang out spot. When I called the property owner she said there was nothing she could do, that’s when I explained I was not staying under those conditions. She explained I had to pay for at least the one night since they had no one to replace me to cover the loss in revenue. At that point I didn’t care about them taking the money for one night. It is not a place for kids and I do not recommend this property at all.

Good for a quick stop with a need for more than 1 bedroom

There was no deadbolt/secure lock, half was ripped off. There was what looked like blood drip in the very old dirty locking tub. Very very poor quality mattress- felt like sleeping on a trampoline. Hair in the bed and in towels. 4 people registered to stay and only 3 pillows and two very cheap thin blankets. Many surfaces stained dirty. The light came on automatically in the night about every hour waking us up throughout the night.

Rooms were a great size and clean. Front desk is awesome and helpful, and if it's after hours the number you need to call answers right away and can help with any issues

Thjs property has sex trafficking and roaches. Unsafe for a family

I walked in the room and walked right out. Horrible smell. I will get a full refund

The rooms were very clean and roomy. Front desk was extremely nice and if you have any issues when office is closed you can text the back office who are super helpful and always pleasant to speak to . It's definitely worth the price, it's a,little high on the weekends but a steal during the week. It's totally worth what you'd pay compared to other places in the same range .

Homeless walking around the property asking for money. Security and staff were to busy socializing to care. This place is awful.

The Metro Phoenix Apartments complex is in an appalling state, with filth and neglect evident in every corner. The unit was riddled with roaches, crawling out of cracks and infesting kitchens and bathrooms, making it nearly impossible to have a comfortable stay. Despite constant complaints, management remains utterly incompetent—ignoring maintenance requests, dismissing concerns, and failing to address the overwhelming pest problem.
