The Bay Suites - Entertainment Dist

As you can see by photos, washer leaked so the whole floor was coming apart. Both glass panes were broken on the closet. Blinds were broken or missing. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, vanity around bathroom sink was all broken. Called and sent them pictures to see if we could get another room. We were there 4 nights and have been home for 1 day, and still waiting on a decision. Maintenance came down on the second day. Air conditioning wasn't working either. He took pictures of our complaints and and said someone will be up to fix the A/C. We are still waiting to hear back. Called multiple times and inquired at front desk, and was always told "Someone will get back to you shortly". Like I said, still waiting. If you get room 610, RUN.

Suite was in terrible condition

Was not cleaned well. Some sort of body fluid on bed frame. Holes in doors and on table top. Laundry in dryer still going when we got there. Stains on couch will not sit on it. Overall very poor. Am not happy with this property. Have pictures of all and would like refund

Great location. Near Billy Bishop shuttle drop off, close to Union Station. A bit complicated to check in - lots of steps in the process. Long wait for elevators.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone based on my recent experience, which was quite disappointing. I had high hopes for our vacation, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. One of the major issues we encountered was that although there were two TVs in our accommodation, both of them were not functioning at all. This made it difficult for us to unwind and enjoy some entertainment during our downtime. Additionally, I was frustrated to find that we did not have access to the pool and gym facilities, which are usually highlights of a vacation stay. This limited our options for activities and really impacted our overall enjoyment. My kids, in particular, were left feeling bored and restless without these amenities to keep them engaged. Overall, this experience was far from what we had anticipated, and I would advise others to consider their options carefully before choosing this location for their vacation.

Cumbersome process to check in and very sus. Would NOT recommend as downtown Toronto area does not allow renting of private residences out so some rooms are not legitimate. Would recommend hotel instead. Friend staying at same place in different room was evicted.

All the place has going for it the location.but the property is not a hotel, it is in a private building, and is not at the address in the booking. There are stains in the floor, the shower wasn’t working, it was fixed the following morning after we let them know ( quick to address it). The door lock is damaged. I was sure I had booked a place with 2 beds and somehow between the pictures and when the reservation went through, it was a bed and a sofa bed

This place is a pile of crap and the customer service is terrible don’t book this place at any cost Broken glass door a, broken blinds, floor board cracked

Could not have asked for a better location! I will definitely be back in the future!

Good place to stay if you’re right downtown, especially for the price too, definitely a little confusing checking in, but it’s an actual apartment complex that has units rented out. Super convenient spot if you’re going downtown, would stay again
