Isle of Skye Guest house

This is a self-served house where there is nobody to help if something is not clear or missing. The price is too high for what it is, but we had no choice due to limited availability on the Isle of Skye. Overall it is ok and clean. It includes cereal boxes, milk, energy bars, etc, but there is only instant coffee. Appliances to prepare anything hot is minimal and fridge is warm. Availability of glass for wine was appreciated.

We loved the room and ease of checking in. It was quiet and my husband loved the community lounge area.

Very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms. Great service. The location is perfect as a base to explore the island.

Decent property, clean and relatively quiet. Self check-in was fairly smooth. Room was decent overall, but the beds were absolutely uncomfortable (travelling companion noted we should have slept on the box springs instead of the mattress). But whereas every other stay on our trip fed us a hot, custom breakfast, this place does not, and especially for the pretty high price charged, a "meal" of pre-packaged oatmeal and cereal bars is a total embarrassment. Would not return.

Worst experience we went through in isle of Skye guest house during our isle of Skye tour 2weeks back ..We had some issues in our room staying with my 4 year little one and there is no one to help for assistance.Also other guests near us had lots of complaints that glass pieces on the floor, no keys for the rooms so they taken their baggage with them for dinner. So we all called multiple times to the onsite manager mobile but no response. So booked a another hotel and moved out from there immediately. It doesn't look the same way as shown in images in the website.

We had a great stay. You will likely need a car to stay at this property as there is limited options for walking to restaurants. We appreciated the cereal/milk/oats provided for breakfast. It was easy to find from the Skye bridge.

Nice very large room , very quiet , clean and comfortable bed . Perfect stay .

The location is great and amenities provided like milk, yoghurt and cornflakes very thoughtful. I do think the interiors especially some rooms need upgrading.
