It was wonderful experience to stay at Marufukuro

The service was amazing, and the hotel room and amenities were excellent. The Nintendo history was fascinating and done tastefully. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! The staff at reception were fantastic and helped however needed. Our room was clean and beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated access to the bar and library- it was a great spot to quietly end the night. There were many amenities provided in the room. The room key was obviously unique, and we were happy we could buy a copy of the keychain at checkout. The hotel was in a quiet area and off the beaten path, so we did use a taxi frequently. Some taxi drivers weren’t sure where to take us based on hotel name alone, so I usually put the address in Maps and then they used my phone to get us there. We would absolutely stay here again!

I recommend this hotel to everybody who visit Kyoto.You should stay in the hotel rather than going out. There are lots of hidden joys everywhere in the building.Please enjoy the beauty of it. We, Japanese must appreciate the fact that such a beautiful building is kept and we can actually stay ! I'd love to come back soon.

The staff were extraordinarily kind and helpful! I lost a bag on a bus and the staff at Marufukuro went out of their way to help us retrieve it. The hotel itself was stellar! Clean, spacious, and the vibe of the lobby/museum were immaculate.

Perfect cute boutique hotel. We stayed at 102, which is the most amazing traditional suite. Employees are also amazing… the only issue: there was water pouring/dripping sound every morning at 6:25am which woke us up. Nothing to complain or reduce a star but it would be nice if it was fixed

今回5回目ということで 部屋に入るとウェルカムドリンクでシャンパンが🍾 アップグレードもできるとの話で まだ泊まったことのない部屋も案内してもらい楽しめました 今回は安藤先生のサインが書かれた部屋だったので そのまま滞在 ラウンジに近くとても便利でした

Such a special, historical building... the staff was beyond helpful, gracious, friendly. This hotel is a must visit.
