Windsor Luxury Studio Apartment

The check in was a nightmare. Despite booking and paying for the accommodation 6 months in advance from Australia, they waited until 2 hours before we arrived to advise of the procedure, by which time we had been travelling for 24 hours and had no access to UK internet or phone service. We assumed that someone would meet us there with the key at the arranged time but this did not happen. It took two hours, and the assistance of a neighbour from the unit block to sort it out.

In a great location, literally 2 minutes walk from Windsor Castle and shopping in Peascod St. There's an Ale & Cider house directly across the road. Both train stations, Central & Riverside within short walking distance.

Well thought out apartment in the centre of Windsor with the changing of the guard marching past below! Clean and comfortable 3rd floor accommodation with good facilities

Being as the apartment is above a busy street there is some road noise, however it is does not really begin to build after about 8 am.

Ok so here’s my list - sorry - my main gripe is looking back through previous feedback, pretty much everything below has been mentioned before. Some of it over 2 years ago.!! So I think it’s disgraceful none of this has been rectified and you just let your next customers suffer the same - shame on you. Toilet seat loose Area around shower frame dirty Black mould on shower walls Hole in shower hose Small shower head scaled up Kitchen sink tap leaks at worktop Inside dishwasher disgusting Fridge ice box doesn’t close and needs defrosting No key for balcony door Clutter everywhere - plastic plants (I counted 11) potpourri, ornaments etc. these may look good in photos but take up what little space there is and they’re all full of dust Large black fan full of dust Mirrors above bed dusty / dirty Mirror in bathroom dirty Bulb missing from ceiling light in lounge Only one bedside table and lamp Carpet dirty

Everything we have been away 5 weeks and by far this was the best accommodation loved it clean tidy well appointed close to everything. Great instructions to enter property. The first 10 I’ve ever given on booking.com

No lift however thats very common and wouldn’t effect us not returning unless of some disability. Nothing we didn’t like about the property we loved it !!!

The location was excellent and convenient to train, bus, and Castle. The apartment was clean and comfortable with lots of light. The washer/ dryer was appreciated for the middle of a three week trip. The checkin went smoothly with door and key codes.
