Windsor Luxury Studio Apartment

Location was perfect, easy walk to the town center and lovely and close to the long walk. Comfortable bed and nice kitchen facilities. Would definitely stay again.

On the third floor without a lift which was a little difficult with our cases and we weren't expecting it. So just something to be mindful of.

Room (and building) heated up very quickly in the sun. Kitchen sink plug needs replacing. Toilet seat is wobbly. Shower hose needs replacing. Large deposit not explained at point of booking.

Noisy road and too much clutter in apartment

Delayed entering property for 1hr 10mins as unable to contact property manager. Could not leave message as his in box was full. Had to ring Booking.com to assist. Wouldn’t let me in from rain outside until I paid £125 fee for breakage. Not impressed. Toilet seat was loose and at an angle. Dishwasher was filthy.

Great location and lovely apartment.

Little noisy. No lift. Check in procedure was a fail. Stranded outside waiting access. Contact continuously denied issues Double charged pre authorisation on arrival. Invoiced incorrectly. Contact difficult to resolve issues. Had to repeatedly follow up to finally get agreement and return of money we were overcharged.

The location was fantastic. There are over 30 stairs though so make sure you are able to do this. The apartment was really good. Plenty of room with some nice added extras such as a couple of biscuits, toothbrush and toothpaste. The bed was really comfy and the pub across the road is worth a visit. Host, once we made contact, was really apologetic and really nice. I would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend.

There was a mix up with the keys on arrival. Some of it my fault as I hadn’t filled out a form that I needed to do at least 24 hours before arriving at the property. Unfortunately I was staying with friends and hadn’t checked my email for a few days so hadn’t seen the form. Once I did fill it out and sent it we didn’t hear back from the property for nearly 3 hours and that was only because I rang Bookings.com to in frustration to advise them of my frustration in not hearing back from the accommodation. My advice is LOOK FOR THE EMAIL AND FILL OUR THE FORM STRAIGHT AWAY. I also really don’t understand why the form needed a copy of my ID. With hacking now, I don’t like giving this info out and don’t think this ID is necessary.
