Purcellville Home

The location is quaint and beautiful and the home holds a lot of vintage charm. It is close to downtown, for ease of access to the area's attractions or family/friends nearby. The owner was very gracious in allowing for our late check-in time at 2am due to travel difficulties. The WiFi and TV services offered were nice to have when doing a little work on vacation or winding down with a show before bed.

The bed and breakfast did not serve any meals. There was some instant coffee and opened cereal left out in the shared kitchen, with expired powdered creamer. After our check-in, we did not see the host at all, and although she was available via text, there was no additional service provided (i.e. fresh towels or sheets, room tidying, asking if we needed anything)- and my husband remarked that it felt like a motel. The shared bathroom did not become an issue as there did not seem to be many other guests staying during the time we were there, but there was cheap, used, dirty soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles for use in the shower if guest did not bring their own.

The front exterior was nice. The bed was very comfortable.

The add said a private bath but it was a shared bathroom. There was MOLD in the coffee pot. There were only paper cups for the coffee if we were to have any without the mold. There should be nice ceramic mugs in a B&B. There was No One available in the morning and NO Breakfast. There are still name plaques outside of the room from what ever the property was used as before, like for patients names. That makes it eerie.

There was no breakfast. Breakfast is an additional cost. Location was convenient for activities we had planned, which is why we chose to stay here.

Check-in consisted of about 5 sentences total. Basically here is the room, do you need keys. No information about the home or community or anything. Room was supposed to be triple room with balcony. There is no balcony. No breakfast included, she said it would be an additional cost. Dresser tops were dusty, bed was uncomfortable. Other than that, quaint place and very quiet.

No Continental breakfast just open box of cereal no fresh fruit, bagels ECT . They said they would have , had to stay another night she quoted me 170.00 and was charged 230.00 live and learn

I thought that it was a beautiful home and I really enjoyed how spacious the room and bed were. Bigger than my room and bed at home!

Very clean and pretty

We were put upstairs where the temperature was set at 81 very hot. I added another day for my son and pregnant daughter in law and was quoted 170.00 and then I was charged 195.00 and a 40.00 charge with no explanation and no Continental breakfast just an open box of cereal. I paid a lot of money for a bed.

Beautiful house Felt very welcoming I have seen other comments about standoffish staff. I had the complete opposite experience. Wonderful conversation, helpful when I had an issue arise, could not say enough about hostess, staff, and family.

I do agree that there could have been more breakfast choices, but meh, bring a protein bar!

Although the kitchen was available to us, there was no bread for toast, no milk, creamer, or butter. As we awoke late, we did not check with Lana about the availability of these items.
