MainStay Suites Florence - Darlington

Absolutely nothing!

This place is disgusting!!! I would not even give it any stars. The bed had brown stains all over it, the toiletries had hair on top of them, the bath tub/shower was so dirty, stained walls, a booger on one of the pillows, a piece of tape on the door that was barely visible with room number, the smell was horrible and garbage surrounded the hotel. I can't even believe they would put anyone in the room and how they are even still open!! We left within 10 minutes and only stayed that long to take pics of everything.

We were being charged “ Breakfast “ when there wasn’t any we got told “ cookies and coffee”

This place is under construction and has extended stay residents who sit outside playing loud music most of the night. Do not recommend!

They did not have the room that I had reserved online, nor did they have any rooms with two beds. The clerk told me that I had been refunded, but I have yet to see that credit in my account

The bathroom was dirty. The outside of the property is filthy and the door numbers were indicated by dark blue painters tape. I was given no directions on how to get to my room so I spent 15 minutes walking around trying to figure out where to go. Just an awful experience. Thankful for the refund.

Property offers to go bags with a water and biscuit instead of breakfast. The guy was nice to change our room after initial one which was not clean.

Nothing. Room wasn't all the way finish getting build. New appliances but nothing worked

Everything. Tv didn't work, wall wasn't finished still had a big opening in it. Workers was very very rude and disrespectful. They rudely burst in my room without a welcome

This was the worst experience ever. Dirty tub, dirty towels, no electricity when we got in the room. Our electricity got disconnected during our stay. They gave us the incorrect room upon arrival. Your front desk associate told me to request a refund and then you just tried to charge my card $54.54!

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Walked into the lobby and it was void of everything. No furniture, no people, no staff, just boxes in the corner. Finally two men showed up one being a worker there and the gentleman checking in warned us to check the room before checking in and continued on with his frustrating conversation with the staff member. At this point, I was done with this property. Everything felt wrong about this place and the two cops at the motel next door was the seal that I was not going to stay here. They refused to refund us for NOT staying there that night. If I could rate it a zero-- I would.
