7Pines Resort Sardinia - A Destination By Hyatt

This is a beautiful resort and there are a lot of good aspects of this hotel. However, the service in my view is what makes a hotel really special. When you pay for a luxury hotel, you expect good service. After my last experience with the 7 pines, I will definitely never go back to a 7 pines. After a private boat experience, I ordered a car to pick us from the pier at 4:45 pm through the conciege (the same car that dropped us off for 150 euros). The car did not show up until 6 pm (an hour and 15 minutes later). We ended up taking a different transfer as we were with two young kids and the hotel tried to charge me 400 euros for a transfer that showed up late. They eventually agreed to charge me 150 euros. Hyatt corporate did not nothing because they said I was compensated by the reduction in price. In my view you should not have to pay for a transfer that shows up over an hour late and does not notify you. I have never experienced this and the customer service team at both the Hyatt brand level and the hotel were not helpful. The transfer company was in the right apparently. This was something I've never experienced before.

Secluded beaches, watersports, concierge service, reception staff.

The staff does not meet the 5 star standard. Half of the staff doesn't speak English, so they often brought the wrong food, the massage was average because the staff simply didn't understand what you were saying to them in English. This is not what you expect when you pay 20 thousand euros for a 5-star hotel.

We came here for about 4 days at the end of our European trip. It was me, husband and our two best friends. We came in from Sorrento and got in late. We were starving but they were able to create some amazing pizza for us. Our rooms were perfect sizes for each couple. Loved the covered balcony-we could see the water and boats. It was our 28th anniversary. They had flowers, balloons, chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne. The people were all so amazing! Huge shout out to Mossimo, Antonella (who made the best espresso martinis) and Serena (who painted a beautiful picture of Sardinia making us want to come back). Breakfast was always amazing. Great selection of food and servers were awesome. Pool areas were gorgeous and we took advantage of the bar and their menu for lunch was delicious. We were told the hotel was full but except for breakfast, we never saw anyone. The sunset area where we ate lots of raw food had one other couple. Cone Club was good but hardly anyone was there. We took a private boat for a day and it was nice. The hotel had a small dock where we were picked up. Our flight took off much later than our check out but the staff were happy to keep our things safe and let us enjoy the pool and amenities until we left. It was a great stay.

We stayed in what seemed to be the largest suite on the property and absolutely loved it — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped (especially appreciated the ice cubes in the mini freezer!). The staff were incredibly attentive throughout our stay, and the property itself is beautifully laid out and never felt crowded. The pool was very nice, and while the beach was a bit steep for our taste, it was still enjoyable. Our suite offered great privacy — even with its oceanfront location, the bushes limited the view but added a peaceful sense of seclusion, which we loved… until Saturday night. Unfortunately, loud music from a neighboring property (not affiliated with the hotel) blasted through a massive speaker pointed directly at our wing of suites. Staff were sympathetic but explained they couldn’t intervene until after midnight — and even then, there was no guarantee the music would stop or that authorities would be able to respond. Breakfast was another highlight — a lovely, generous spread each morning.

For the price charged, I would definitely not consider this a 5 star resort. While Sardinia is beautiful and the hotel property is very nice as well, there are several things lacking at this resort. First off, the rooms are tiny. There is no room to keep your luggage out while having room to walk around. For 2 people with normal size suitcases, the room will feel very small. The staff is very kind, but many of them barely speak English. This was very frustrating. I have never been to a resort like this where communication was so difficult. Shout out to Hamza who was incredible though. The staff is also very poorly trained. We felt like we were at camp with kid counselors versus being at an exclusive resort. Our orders were incorrect every single breakfast we were there, and sometimes they were never even brought to the table. Sardinia is beautiful and the hotel property is beautiful as well. For the price charged I would chose to find another hotel in the area.

Roberta, whose tireless dedication didn’t go unnoticed, greeted us daily with cheerful energy. Mara, always smiling, served our coffee and breakfast with such warmth that it felt like home. The breakfast manager and team were equally wonderful—starting each day with their positivity and good vibes was a gift. Thank you all for being the sunshine that kickstarted our mornings. 🌊 Concierge Excellence After breakfast, we headed to the concierge where we met Ginevra—spectacular in every sense. With her upbeat personality, warmth, kindness and thoughtful recommendations, she helped us uncover amazing restaurants and beach clubs that made our Sardinian experience truly memorable. Like Gloria, she was an absolute joy to encounter each day with a heart of gold. Gloria and Ginevra became our dynamic duo—their small surprises, genuine care, and shared laughter created an ambiance we’ll never forget. Seeing their smiling faces each day was something we looked forward to, and we’re deeply grateful for their support. 🎯 Hospitality Heroes We made sure to express our admiration to their manager Rebecca and to Antonio, whom we believe leads the concierge team. Their depth of knowledge, constant helpfulness, and infectious warmth made an incredible impression. Agnes was also amazing, pointing us to a fantastic nearby restaurant. To all of you—we believe this team is the very definition of hospitality perfection. You should be cloned and celebrated! 🚪 Extra Helping Hands Special shout-outs to Dario at security and Mateo, who rushed to assist when we locked ourselves out—both greeted us with joy and made even stressful moments feel light. 🧳 From Lost Luggage to Found Joy Yes, I eventually got my luggage back. But much more importantly, I left Seven Pines with a heart full of joy, a deep love for Sardinia, and unforgettable memories of the incredible people who made our stay so meaningful. To each and every staff member—thank you. As seasoned travelers, we can truly say this was one of the finest resort experiences we’ve ever had.
