Bluebird Dennisport

Lovely place to stay. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Nice outside space in addition to the pool. Convenient location as well.

We loved our stay! We stayed in a deluxe king and it was spacious and super clean. Housekeeping came everyday and the staff were always polite anytime we interacted with them. The pool was awesome! There is a small beach .9 miles away, which was easy to walk to. Rooms were not too noisy next door and I saw some reviews that said there were no hooks- but that issue was resolved because we had them! Coffee was great in the AM. It’s super close to the Wee Packet for breakfast / dinner and Sundae School ice cream. We loved our stay :)

The hotel, overall, was very nice and provided the basics of what we needed. While it would not have changed our reservation and he outdoor pool was very nice, it would have been ideal to know in advance that the indoor pool/hot tub were not available due to repair/renovation. The website was misleading in making it seem like all amenities/options were available. Also, it would be preferred if the pool could stay open to at least dusk (vs. 7:00 PM)

Great locatfor weekend visit

Have never been to Cape Cod previously, and booked Bluebird Dennisport with reward points from major chain hotel so there was no cost to us. Cute little place, very rustic and seems to fit into vibe of local area. Property is cute. Enjoyed sitting by the gas firepit, but skipped the pool since our Floridian blood is used to much warmer summer temps for swimming. Enclosed pool and hot tub area were closed for renovations, but looked nice. Location was nice; we were within walking distance to a few small restaurants. Our room (deluxe double queen) was comfortable. (We were on first floor; our neighbors upstairs sounded like they were doing laps in their room at times, but of course this was not fault of hotel.) Beds were comfy, water pressure good. If there are recommendations I could make... Our room had a round table and L-shaped bench, as well as a cubby shelf. Would loved to have had a desk/dresser unit in room, as there wasn't really anywhere aside from table and bench to put suitcases [no drawers for clothes]. The room was sizeable, so there was ample space to add desk/dresser. Shower/tub only had one glass divider/door, so you had to get into shower to turn water on. (That first cold blast of shower water hit hard when you turned it on...) Had to take extra care to make sure water didn't splash out onto bathroom floor, which could have easily been remedied by additional shower door or even a shower curtain. Overall... I would look into other hotels for price comparisons on future visits --- didn't do that at all this time since we were able to pay with reward points --- but would have no issue with staying at Bluebird Dennisport again. Recommended!

It was ok. I saw a lot of reviews about thin walls but didnt notice that at all. When we walked into the room it was cool outside but they had the AC at 66° and it smelled soo musty/moldy in the room. We tried to open the windows but they were all stuck, we were only able to get the bathroom one open and then eventually one of the front windows to help air the place out. The floor was sooooo sticky and dirty. We had to walk around with our sandals on. The bathroom also had black and brown drips all over the shower and walls. We came home and all of our stuff smelled moldy from the room. Also didnt like the free standing bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, any other guest can easily tamper with them and put stuff in them.
