Very friendly staff. Loved the welcome baking. Clean facilities and great place to stay before walking the Humpbridge Great Walk. We left our car in the carpark.

Just need to know that it's isolated so bring you're food or come fed if arriving late

"Hidden gem by the Hump Ridge Track."

Location was fantastic. Amazing to finish the walk and arrive for an amazing burger, lit fire and cosy beds. Such a memorable stay with amazing hosts - fresh coffee in the mornings, cinnamon buns, hot hot showers and a cosy place to rest before and after the hike. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Uns wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Ein herzlichen Dank nochmal an den Lodgechef. Toll fanden wir auch, dass wir nach dem Umbridge Track direkt nochmal in der Lodge duschen dürften und uns ein Superkaffee gemacht wurde. Sandflyerspray, was an de Rezeption erhältlich war, ist sehr wirksam. Als Ausgangspunkt und für danach für den Track ein echter Tipp.....

An amazing place to stay ... right at the start of the Humpridge. Delicious food (free tea coffee use of the kitchen and the BEST cinnamon scrolls!) The beds were super comfy and Keley, Blake and Mike could not be more hospitable. Also being dt the start of the track you can totally start when you want ...(and not reliant on track transport) .// the start is literally 100m from the lodge! We just loved it and would highly recommend.
