I can't say enough nice things about our stay in room #7 at the Avanti House. This is an old house, and with that comes both the charm and quirks of an older home. The couple who manage it do an amazing job keeping it up, and everything from the architectural details to the tributes to a classic car legacy make this such a charming place to stay. The location was an easy walk to so many wonderful restaurants and landmarks around South Bend, and getting to Notre Dame was a breeze. I know where I'll be staying when I come to visit my baby for her freshman year next fall!

I stayed in Avanti Houses room 4 for two nights and its been a great time for me. Great to meet Don. The house is well decorated and those who love automobiles will be fascinated by the avanti collections. Close to the museum and not far from the airport. I truly recommend this place.

Very quiet/peaceful, convenience was good to Notre Dame

Though the property has lots of cool personality, I didn’t see any staff during my stay. Would have enjoyed some kind of communication — even though everything worked out just fine.
