The Oak & Anchor Hotel

The hotel was beautifully decorated but still maintained the heritage of the building. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean and well located property. Helpful and friendly team. Dinner was excellent.

The room was clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great. Awesome location.

Room size and decoration.

Breakfast in the cafe down the road wasn’t good for the first day of our stay. As a coeliac all that was available were smoothies and juices. This was remedied on the second day but only an egg and bacon roll was available.

Nothing to dislike

Pretty, renovated, lovely staff, nice restaurant. Brilliant deck outside the bridal suite.

Beds were a bit too soft. And the breakfast deal with a local cafe was very disappointing (although coffee was good).

Excellent location. Beautiful room.
