The Kings Park Grand

Bed was not cleaned and Bathroom was smelling badly.

The pub located downstairs tends to be quite noisy until midnight. While I appreciate that extending the check-out time depends on availability, it would be helpful if this information could be conveyed to guests in a more empathetic manner.

I liked the environment,quietness of the HOtel

Like every reviewer, my stay here was for the sole purpose of visa as the biometric VAC and consulate are both in walking distance from the hotel. Room was clean but there was no cleaning done during my 3 day stay. AC was working fine and hot water available in the bathroom. I dint like the breakfast much but the food ordered for lunch and dinner was great. Everything was prepared well and tasty. Room service was fast and efficient. It was easy to find auto to go to both VAC and consulate (reasonable price and willing to go, unlike the Blore autos who will shake their head refusing to go) and I walked back to the hotel both times. Keep in mind that traffic is heavy around the hotel, especially in the evening. I had to wait around 30 mins for my uber to the airport. He was nearby but the traffic was bad.

The place is located close to the US consulate and their entire business model is centered around this. They have multiple room sizes for the same category rooms. They show pictures of the larger rooms but in our case, we were assigned one of the smaller ones. The room barely had space for the extra mattress and the bed needed to be shifted just to fit a small mattress in. The rooms ac was also non functional but we were still made to spend our first night there. The morning staff was more helpful and changed our room. Overall, staff is helpful but quite slow and seems over burdened. The food is decent but pricey. The place seems fine for people who want to use it for a few hours or overnight to rest around their visit to the consulate, but, in our experience, it is not very family or long stay friendly.

great rooms and adequate room service really enjoyed my stay the room was provided immediately and the the complementary breakfast buffet was exquisite and the restaurant on the 4th floor was one of the best i have been to here in chennai
