1. Beautiful rooms. The Lobby is very stunning with a small Japanese garden. 2. Very helpful english speaking staff. 3. As we were vegetarians, they were very particular about our food preferences. The chef remembered how we liked our preparations. 4. We will always remember our 5 nights stay as one of the best. 5. Their rooftop garden is a lovely addition.

This is an incredibly special place. It is an architectural masterpiece. The service is impeccable. The location is excellent. The staff pays attention to every detail. What a beautiful stay we had in Kyoto at this amazing space. Thanks to Serj and Eri and Katsuya and the rest of the staff - we will be back!

"Nice hotel in a quiet part of town."

Lovely hotel . Quiet location. Great staff. Lovely rooms.

Having to pay for a second coffee at breakfast. Considering the cost of this hotel, I think this is a bit cheeky and unfair to charge for a coffee while having breakfast!
