Wonderful, friendly staff. Clean, updated room. We had a lovely stay.

The staff charged our credit card after we had already paid via booking.com I had to phone twice to sort it out and wait 5 days for the charges to come off the credit card. There was also a pair of underwear under one of the beds from the previous guests, makes me think the rooms are not serviced properly.

Unfortunately, this property has gone downhill since my previous visit. The pool staff was unfriendly. The front desk person asked me why I was only staying one night (intrusive, nosy. The room I was originally assigned had a bad smell. When I changed rooms, he said the room hadn’t been occupied for several months. So why wasn’t there a full inspection before assigning me the room? Even the new room I was assigned had missing blinds, which I wanted for greater privacy. However, I didn’t feel like bothering anymore. The pool staff wasn’t going around and asking if we wanted anything, like they did in the past. When I asked about a drink I remembered that was under $10, the pool guy responded “maybe 20 years ago” (trying to put me down). Then I discovered there IS a $7 drink on the pool menu, pointed it out to him, and he once again was dismissive and said “oh that’s a ‘small one” (which it was not). The clientele is also more downscale now. The pink umbrellas are all faded. So the vibe at the pool is very tired and uninspiring. So essentially, very tacky service overall. And lower quality experience.

Loved our stay at the Paloma. Ronaldo was welcoming and showed us around as he walked us to our room. Nancy provided get service at the pool. Food and drinks were yummy! Over all great experience and will be returning!

VERY thin walls - got to hear way more than I wanted to from room next door. Shower does not drain properly and water rushes onto floor when you open the door. TV and remote did not work.

Loved the style and layout of the place. So many things to do ! We loved the pool and the gym as well ! Very relaxing time it was out what we were looking for. Also the bar at the pool was amazing ! Staff was also very friendly ! Can’t wait to go back

The room was fantastic ! I love the decor and it was very clean ! The grounds are well kept ! It’s a beautiful place to stay the pool and bar was our fav! Can’t wait to go back ! Staff was also great and helpful with anything we needed !
