Residence Inn by Marriott Pigeon Forge

The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean, the bed was just ok comfortable wise. We had a great view. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, nothing great. The hotel was very clean inside and out. We were at the pool every day. On the day before we left, I was injured while at the pool. A wind gust caught the umbrella and it came out of the table and turned sideways and luckily it was stopped by the light pole. It did hit my hand but certainly could’ve been worse. I have yet to hear from management about the incident. I would love to book another stay here. There was another thing that was a concern. They only have 4 luggage carts for the entire hotel. Myself and 3 others waited in the lobby for one of the carts to return, we all left without one. Please get more luggage carts!!!

This is a very nice hotel in every way! It is very conveniently located across the street from the convention center. In fact, it has its own walkway over to the center. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms are very clean, well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is similar to the Hilton brands in that it’s adequate, not exciting. Definitely a place worth staying in.

I have to give a shout out to Sandi, your breakfast hostess who single handedly and with amazing patience, fed a lovely horde of hungry teenagers while keeping the pans of food full. She is amazing and I hope she is appreciated! Sandi, I appreciate you and all of your hard work!!

We had a wonderful time!

The hotel is across the street to the LeConte convention. There is an easily accessible skywalk that will conveniently let you walk to the convention center and to the Riverwalk Greenway. The Island is also within walking distance. The rooms are well equipped with a full size refrigerator, a 2 burner cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. They also have 2 outside grills that are next to the pool/firepit area. If you need to do laundry, there are 4 washer/dryers that are coin operated. It is a great location to all of the Pigeon Forge fun with a little less traffic than the main strip. They also included a breakfast every morning and coffee in the lobby all day. The thing that impressed me most was the breakfast staff. We stayed for our spring break and the hotel was busy with a group of band members and a softball team. Even with such big groups, they kept everything running smooth. If something ran out the had it refilled quickly. From check-in to check-out we had a great experience and the whole staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious, plus a decent size kitchen and bath.

On the last day we were there, I was straightening the room and I noticed two drops of blood on the coverlet. There was also a piece of paper that had blood CB on it in the hallway that had been there since we checked in. The carpet in the hallway had not been vacuumed for the two days we were there. I notified the person at the desk when we checked out.
