Residence Inn by Marriott Pigeon Forge

Lovely property, right across the street from The Island (with views of the wheel and all the holiday lights) and easy access to the parkway with lots of dining and entertainment options. Love having a kitchen in the room, and the included breakfast was fantastic with enough options to satisfy anyone. I would definitely stay again when in the area!

The hotel was conveniently located to the Island, activities, and the Cal Ripken experience. We booked the hotel as a group of baseball families. The rooms were very nice and well equipped. However, one lady that was the front desk clerk hassled our families from the moment she saw our group waiting in the lobby to go to dinner and had children as part of the group. We were waiting in the lobby for another family when she informed us and handed us a laminated list of “rules” and said she was not going to put up with children running around. It would have been one thing if the children were running around the lobby or the property but she did this unprovoked and was extremely rude and condescending to us as well as our children. It didn’t stop there. The next night, the lobby was full of families and children eating pizza and watching football from several different baseball groups and she came marching up to our table and accused our kids of running around and causing issues, but they were not, it was another group of people who had kids that were laughing and playing a game (cards) but she talked to me like I was a dog and never apologized for accusing me of having the “rowdy” children. She also told me during that interaction that it was not fair to the other guests that were paying $100 more a night to have to put up with children in the lobby. Again, the lobby was lively but kids were supervised and behaving and this woman was hateful to the groups that were there. Nice hotel and all other staff members were pleasant but that woman was extremely rude and probably should not work at an establishment where families are the primary customers.

No complaints

1. Room was convenient as it had a fridge, stove and microwave like we wanted so we could cook. 2. Bed was comfortable. 3. Staff was friendly and helpful. 4. Outside pool and spa were nice.

1. The sofa in our room was broke, they did send someone up to look at it while we were out but not much could be done at the time. 2. We got room 304 which you'd assume would be one of the first on the floor but it was one of the last. We had a 2 year old with us which made this a bit of an annoyance. 3. Stove area was nice to have but it was in a very poor area to use for cooking due to being cramped.

The room was amazingly quiet. We didn't hear guest in the adjacent rooms. The front desk staff is very friendly. The only negative was the bathroom floor was dirty. Clearly the cleaning staff doesn't mop the bathroom floor between each guest.

Wonderful experience! The room was clean, hotel staff were great! My husband and I had to leave quickly due to a family emergency. In our rush to leave, I forgot my Apple Watch and a few pieces of jewelry in our hotel room. Deep, the front desk clerk, was so kind and considerate! He located my watch and jewelry and asked the manager to mail it to me the next business day. This meant so much to me! The watch was a gift from my children, the necklace and earrings were gifts from my husband and included a charm from a very dear friend of mine. Thank you so much to Deep and the kind manager!

Our family had a wonderful stay in 2 rooms at Residence Inn Pigeon Forge. The property is beautiful and well kept. The amenities are in great condition and the entire property was exceptionally clean. Breakfast options were diverse and plentiful. Our favorite part of the stay, however, was the warm, friendly, professional reception at the front desk. Todd, Lynda, Jenae, and Morgan all made our stay seamless and stress free. They are all wonderful associates. Great job by everyone at Residence Inn! We will be back!
