Lovely apartment beneath Edinburgh Castle

Location and affordability.

The property was clean - well furnished and very well equipped.

The public entrance from the street to the flat is not pleasant and gives a bad first impression. When we opened the flat - the hoover mop and bucket was left right in the hall walk way. We had to move it as it was a trip hazard. We couldn’t get on the Wi-Fi as there were 2 different passwords and neither worked. Also the toilet moved when you sat on it and I lost a strip of my contact lenses down the back. No bath mat in one of the bathrooms.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Location was quite central and close to castle. Would definitely stay again.

the entrance was dirty and smelly the rooms are very small can hardly walk around the bed. beds are very small as well, if you are over 6ft you will not fit on the bed. mt he en-suite is very tight and there is no storage to keep your things there. the lounge and dining room are nicely decorated but again quite tight.

Loved the decor. Very clean and comfortable About a 10 minute walk to Prince 's St. Convenient for visiting Edinburgh Castle. Also the property owners had left cereal, tea and coffee which was a bonus.

We were a bit put off by the appearance of the exterior on the street and the apartment door itself but when we opened the door to the apartment we went Wow!! It was exactly as per your photos

The location was great, The place was easy to find. The apartment was very nice and clean. The communication was really good before arrival The amenities were excellent It was a squeeze for 6 people but comfortable enough. We all agreed we would stay here again

We had it for 6 people. There was a quilt for the sofa bed but no sheet, I did send a message but I had a response about the linin being within the sofa bed. As it was only 2 nights at the apartment and we discovered the lack of sheet late on during the first night, we did not bother to pursue for a sheet. This was the only down side as we felt a little uncomfortable sleeping directly on the furniture

the apartment was very cold. was not ready for us. after 2 hours trying to get it to warm up had to call host. they had us turning on switches and even get on ladders to turn on boilers and switches. they wouldn’t come out to apt. had to wait 2 more hours for apt to start warming up. same with hot water . we had none. had to wait after turning on everything. not the best experience. apt was too small. had to leave luggage outside of bedroom due to no space. beds were very uncomfortable. they have posted they will check for items upon our departure. we requested a list to make sure the items were there but never got a reply back with list. overall I do not recommend this host or this apt.
