Xanadu Makadi Bay - High Class All Inclusive

This was our third time at Xanadu, this visit was with a group of 16 friends and family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. From check in to leaving all the staff have been amazing. As my previous reviews have stated, the stay was fantastic, it gets better each time we have visited. The hotel is becoming popular now which has created a great atmosphere without feeling overcrowded. We were upgraded to swim up rooms on the sunny side of Block2, our room 2116. Most late afternoons we would all gathered in the swim up pool to chill for the last hour or so of sunlight. Previous reviews have mentioned the very good quality of the food, drinks, beach etc...and most of all the staff, so I wont be doing a long review. I would like to thank the staff, Metwally, Shady, Karina (Guest relations) Yousef Ragab, the larger than life Moody, plus all the background staff that we do not meet who make this hotel so special. I apologise for not naming all the staff that we have met, you are all amazing. Looking forward to our next visit in March 2026.

We were in a beautiful room 3125 with a view of the entire Makadi Bay, a step away from our own pool. The cleanliness was impeccable. The atmosphere was more than pleasant, everyone was always kind and smiling, ready to fulfill any additional wish. The service is completely excellent, in seven additional restaurants we enjoyed the tastes of wonderful dishes: French, Italian, Egyptian, Turkish, Indian, Chinese, Fish...with pleasure.

The hotel rooms are nice, but if you get one with a garden view on the northern side, you won’t be able to sleep at night because of the loud noise coming from a nearby building I suspect it’s from water pumps. I asked to have my room changed. The food is excellent and plentiful. The spa, however, is terrible! Avoid the manicure and pedicure services they’re really bad. They didn’t even bother to remove the leftover nail polish I already had on my hands and feet.

We had an unforgettable time at this wonderful hotel. The property is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. The food was excellent, especially the à la carte dinners, which were truly outstanding. The entertainment and animation program added plenty of fun and energy to our days. Special thanks to Mr. Ibrahim from the snack bar for his kindness and amazing service, to the Lagoon Lounge bar Team for their professionalism and great cocktails, and to the housekeeping Team for spotless rooms and creative towel art. We truly felt cared for throughout our stay — and we can’t wait to come back!

Room number 3217 Very good hotel for family trip. Cleaning in rooms was perfect, food was perfect, entertainment was perfect. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Xanadu Makadi Bay from the 2nd to the 9th of October 2025. Arrival and check in was a breeze. We had a booking issue which was dealt with by Nesma at guest services. She really went out of her way to make our stay extra special and I commend her attitude towards guests. Further to this my dad who accompanied us had some health issues which were dealt with at the onsite clinic. I would highly this hotel to families as the facilities are vast.

The place is really beautiful! The staff is nice and talkative. The rooms are always clear! We lived in the room 5401, the cleaner name was Ahmed Taha. His work was always the best of the bests. Thank you, we'll definitely be back again.
