The Clyde Hotel Portland by Kasa Living

Had a great time at The Clyde. It was a single night stay and at the end I wish I could have stayed a week. Love the industrial feel and the location is perfect.

The room as so cute, it was so nice and had so many things for use if you forgot. The location is so nice it’s right near everything, the only thing is the homelessness crisis so be careful but the amazing security guard walked me to my car when I had to walk alone at night. The atmosphere is super cute, very vintage feel and they have a cute Photobooth you can use. I feel the value of the room was fair and I am so happy I stayed here.

Probably the place I will always stay when visiting Portland! Around the block from Powell Book Store, this adorable historic hotel has a modern industrial vibe to keep you cozy while exploring the area. The hotel was a great value too! The blackout shade helped my friend and I sleep soundly in one of the double bed rooms. The mini fridge had enough space for our Sizzle Pizza leftovers and we appreciated the extra waffle knit blankets for a movie night. The whole place was quite clean and the noise machine in the room made all the difference. I was grateful there was free bag check as well as a coffee shop next door. Checking in and out of the hotel was a breeze and the folks at the front desk were very nice.

Super cool space. Love the tub in the suite and the record player was a great touch.

Perfect location to the Pearl and Crystal ballroom. Loved our corner room and the turn table. Miss the Aces bar, but the coffee was delicious.

Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The aesthetic and feel of the hotel is cozy in an awesome old building, with a vintage design that continues to the rooms. Competitive prices and an overall great value.

I routinely stay at the Clyde when visiting Portland, and part of the reason I find myself returning again and again is because of the combination of Bohemian, bunker design, exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, and generally good vibes for writing. It is such a welcome environment, uncluttered and conducive to deep concentration, repeat with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plus, it is conveniently located near so many things you would want to walk to in downtown Portland. Excellent restaurants, the fantastic art museum, and it’s just one block over from Palace city of Books, one of the most iconic bookstores in the world. Really the ideal stay.

Wonderful all around. Relaxing, low key, old school hotel. I’m so happy to see that it hasn’t changed with the switch of ownership. Excellent customer service. I accidentally booked my trip one day short and didn’t realize it until I was notified to check out. I panicked and contacted the hotel. They were able to extend my stay an extra day in the same room. Will absolutely be back.

I made a booking on an app for this hotel. I am in an emergency situation escaping DV and SA. When I went to check in they said the date was wrong. I asked the person at the desk for help to change the date to the right booking. They said they couldn't do that and to use the app. I tried and the app wouldn't let me. The person at the desk got frustrated and told me to leave and that I was trespassed from the premises for asking them to do their job. The app wouldn't let me cancel, the booking and the hotel said it offers no refunds. I am Disabled, homeless, abused and essentially had $500 stolen from this establishment, which has made me have to sleep on the street for a week. WHEN I PAID FOR A PLACE TO STAY HERENEVER STAY HERE - THEY ARE BIGOTS AND THIEVES.

This hotel is amazing! The whole front desk team are incredible. Ashley was incredibly accommodating and made sure we were taken care of during our stay. The manager, Crosby, was phenomenal. She made sure we had a truly memorable stay! Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Portland.
