SACRED STONE Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed the Excellent Personal service Sacred Stone provided during our stay to see to our needs. Picking us up at the Rail station. Holding our bags while we hiked Machu Picchu. Walking us personally to restaurants in area that had dishes we requested. Showing us where to catch the Bus to Machu Picchu in morning. Lovely breakfast. Friendly warm environment. Beautiful spot near river. Spanish and English speaking Staff. I would recommend The Sacred Stone Hotel to anyone who was coming to Machu Picchu area to stay.

nothing comes to mind. If you look hard enough you can find fault with anything. But this hotel was just lovely. And they truly tried to provide for our needs.

The view was great. The location was close to the train station and local restaurants. Breakfast was great and lots of options.

We were on the 5th floor with no elevator.

The location was excellent. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nights we stayed in an inside courtyard facing room were most excellent! Big room, nice furnishings, awesome tv for Netflix’ing at night after amazing daze of hiking and exploring. The staff is off the chart courteous, friendly, always making sure we were enjoying Cuzco - Would definitely stay here again !

Stayed on the street side, first nights - odors, small room for 3 beds, bathroom rained water from the condensation - Probably just room 203 issues.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. 2 minute walk from the train and bus stop - in fact the trains go clanging and tooting past the front door :)

We got a room by the stairs that had surrounding windows. So anytime someone walked by the floodlight would light up our room. Also the bathroom was stinky and musty. Not great but not terrible.

Easy accessibility with location. Manager was very responsive to our needs when water was cold and some guests too loud. Beds were comfortable.

The bedroom had a very strong odor but it quickly dissipated. It might be the mineral content in the water of the area. The photos on the listing did not look quite the same as the real thing: not as much light or a spectacular river view.
