Great hotel. Perfect for 1 or 2 nights in Aguas Calientes. 2 minutes from the bus station and maybe 3 from the trains! Basic but very comfortable rooms with an electric heater if needed. Standard continental brekky with eggs on request and gallons of coffee! Juan(?) running the place could not have been more helpful. Polite and friendly with plenty of advice and happy to look after my bag while visiting Machu Picchu and afterwards while waiting for the train.

The hotel is very centrally located in the small town of Aguas Calientes. Little bodegas and restaurants close by, 10 min walk to the train station, 5 min walk to bus station to Machu Picchu. Beds were comfy, shower had excellent water pressure and hot water. We were in a room towards the back of the building, and there was a strong musty smell in the room itself (Not linens or beds). Recommend asking for a room with a larger window for better ventilation.

didn't have breakfast since we had to leave at 5:20 AM for sunrise at MP. Hotel was thoughtful enough to pack two breakfast brown bags for us.

Expected to be near the Urabamba River, but our room couldn't have been further away and very high up.

Rooms need a deep cleaning of walls and ceilings and fresh flowers change out as has a mildew/ mold smell

The boss personally came to the train station to pick us up. Very friendly person. The breakfast spread was good. Hot and cold water were available at anytime. Waiting area was cozy. A good place to relax and rest. Location is just beside the train station. Good location.

Nos hospedamos no Sacred Stone por apenas uma noite. Infelizmente não é um hotel que recomendaríamos, pois não tivemos a melhor experiência. Chegamos já de noite e tivemos que esperar alguns minutos pelo check-in. Ao entrarmos no quarto, o cheiro de mofo foi difícil de ignorar. A colcha da cama também não estava muito limpa e encontrei um cabelo embaixo da minha. O café da manhã era bem simples, mas foi servido num horário bom, considerando que iríamos sair bem cedo para a visita ao Machu Picchu. Apesar da experiência ruim com o quarto, fomos bem atendidas no check-in e no check-out por um senhor muito simpático. A localização também era boa, próxima da estação de trem e da praça principal.
