Global Luxury Suites at Tribeca

When I arrived at the apartment there was a very strong dog urine smell. I realized it was the carpets and asked Global Luxury to remove them and I deep-cleaned the apartment. It took about 3 days to get them removed. About a week in I received packages from a client but they were stolen. Global Luxury gave me the runaround but still has not reimbursed me for the product. If you need an extended stay or corporate apartment I would suggest using Placemakr or Mary's Place

Was in town on business and all hotels were extremely expensive or sold out due to the activity that was happening in the city. This was a perfect location and if I had more time I would have taken advantage of the growing area around with the coffee shops and stores. I would stay here again. Some of the admin support prior to my arrival could have been better but once I got there on site the staff was AMAZING, FRIENDLY and ACCOMODATING. A little heavy on the cleaning products and walked into a strong smell but at least I knew it was clean...LOL Thank you for a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Great property. But the Internet didn’t work in my unit and the property owner couldn’t fix it.

Highly, highly recommend. I loved and enjoyed everything about the property and location. I drove there and it was easy to locate. Street parking was plenty, as well as affordable parking garages. It’s walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants, as well as the subway. The property was clean at all times. I stayed there for 7days. Apartment was spacious. Loved the washer and dryer in the unit. Everything you needed was provided. All I bought was groceries. Customer service was prompt, helpful and professional. Not only will I stay there again when in D.C., I’ll definitely book with the company at their different locations on future travels.

There are some really good things about this property, which I will offer below, but first I will say that communication with the manager of the apartments (Global Luxury Suites) is terrible. Note that the person at the front desk does not work for them so is unable to resolve any of your issues. I was offered to extend my stay but could never talk to anyone from GSL to confirm. When I finally reached someone after several phone calls over several days and unanswered messages, they said they were sending me emails to an expedia email - which I don't have. They confirmed my extension, sent me an email with the cost and asked me to confirm again so they could send me the link to pay. I responded and then got a text the next day (the day before checkout) that it was no longer available. I'm not sure I would stay again, because if I had a real problem, I doubt it would be addressed. However, for my stay, the price was extremely reasonable for a full apartment. I like the area and the proximity to the Metro and all of the places you want to be in DC.

The apartment was nice and the receptionist were wonderful. I would recommend to anyone!

The location is very convenient for eating and commute. The property is clean. The bed and furniture are cheap and not very comfortable. Electric was unreliable until I figured the breakers tripped every time I started to iron my clothes.

I love the apartment. I had a one bedroom with a balcony. I love the little gift basket they give you. It’s so thoughtful when I come back I’m and the only thing I didn’t like was limited street parking because the garage was full and there is a lot of homeless people in the area that sleep near the apartments

Excellent property. Front desk service not so great. I requested a late check out and got confirmed by the lady on the front desk. However I received a message saying I would be charged additional charges for not checking out. I left the apartment at 12:00 according to what I requested, so expect no additional fees.

1 FOB never worked never got it back. We felt like someone was in the room as all lights and TVs would be off when returning after a day of sight seeing. Back door to balcony would not secure, 2 rooms of blinds would not come down to black the sun/heat. A/C would not cool off rooms, VERY hot. Was told building manager was not in…. Since it was Memorial Day weekend…, we never saw him or had issues resolved.
