Bel Air Motel Wildwood Crest Beach

If you're looking for a budget option, this place is ok i guess.....no daily maid service, you have to pick up your own fresh towels at the office if you want to use fresh towels every day, and the pull out sofa bed looks like its 50 years old and has enough springs to torture anyone having the misfortune to try to use it. Thankfully, we brought along our own air mattress and used that, or it would have been a miserable weekend. But the property is one block from the beach, and also a very short walk to the boardwalk, which is nice. You get what you pay for, and it's an ok option. I'd probably opt to spend a bit more at a different place next time.

This is a dated property that has had some upgrades but is basically very run down and not all that clean. It is OK for a stay at a vintage motel, if that is what you are after. The general condition of the facility is rather lacking.

Staff doesnt come to clean your room everyday i had to infact as the office foe them to clean the room when we stayed 6 nights. When asked for someone to clean the room they give an excuse that made so sense. Its a good stay thats afordable and close to a lot but they need to assure rooms are being cleaned which they dont while youre staying here.

The staff was always present and very willing to assist with questions or concerns.

The rug was torn. The toilet paper holder was missing. The sink was loose and the bathroom towel rack was broken. I will not go back there again.

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL This was one of the worst lodging experiences I've ever had. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some good hotels and some bad hotels. This stay will be memorable because of how terrible it was. The area around this location is sleazy and unsafe, so much so that my wife had to stay in the room because of the clientele who were lurking around the property. The room smelled like pure bleach and was a shambles. The towel bar was ripped from the wall, the toilet paper was sitting in a roll on top of the toilet since there was no holder available. The refrigerator in the room did not stay cold and there was a sign next to it saying that items placed in there would require 6 hours to refrigerate. The AC was extremely noisy as were the other persons staying in the rooms adjacent to us. The bottoms of my feet were black from walking around the carpet in the room. After getting only a couple of hours of not-so-deep sleep, the bleach and/or ammonia smell was burning our noses, and probably our lungs. We would have gotten more rest if we just slept in the car. DO NOT believe the favorable reviews of the Bel Air you may see online. The pictures they post are staged and not indicative of what you will really receive.

Everything was good besides the bed smelled bad and a spot on it smelled fishy.

Outdated property. Great location. The room was fairly clean - beds were fine and bathroom was clean. The carpet was old and stained and the walls needed to be repainted. Bathroom floor and sink need to be replaced. Grout was stained and/or missing on the bathroom floor. Faucet was rusty. The staff seemed very nice. It wasn't horrible but would not stay again.
