Bel Air Motel Wildwood Crest Beach

We enjoyed our stay. However the new mattresses are to soft & very uncomfortable. Also they could run a vacuum cleaner more often in the rooms.

Place needs upgrades accross the baord. However its location makes it a great optuon being one block from the beach. Towels are thin, beds lumpy, floor wet , light not working. The staff work hard but without real investment not much to maintain.

Needs some updates

The sink was coming off the wall, the soaps/cups/ coffee were old and smelled funny and they run your card without asking and don’t have you sign anything. Their business practices are strange, although they are nice, they aren’t really for travelers. Its a weird vibe at this motel. I paid nearly 350 a night, the soap should at least not be lowest quality and the sink shouldn’t be coming off the wall. I had a feeling it was one of those places that set you up for damages so they can charge you more.

The property has a great location and on- site parking. The pool was nice and clean. Overall, the property is showing it's age and has not been renovated. The room was mostly clean, but had very old uncomfortable furniture and cheap memory foam mattresses. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. The kitchenette is in desperate need of renovation. Air conditioning worked well. None of the lamps in our bedroom worked. In summary, this place is acceptable to stay at if you are on a small budget and plan to be mostly out of the motel room anyway.

Excellent stay! Very close to boardwalk. Nice room and pool.

Location was outstanding

No hair dryer in room, mold on bathroom ceiling, very tight parking, bathroom very small with no place to put necessities. Internet was very limited. TV did not work due to internet lags.

I had called a few days earlier for an early check in. Receptionist told me she would note the reservation but can't garuntee. We did get early check in & she remembered my request - yay! But there was a $20 charge that I wasn't told about. No worries, went up to the effieciency with my sis & 2 kids - AC unit in the living room not working, during a heat wave (96 degrees @ 6pm). I told the desk, she said maintenance would come in 2 hours, and asked if we had a fan- Yes, a stand up fan blowing hot air. After the beach, no one had come yet. Went to dinner, returned....STILL no one had come. Went to the desk, asked for compensation but since it was a 3rd party reservation, they can't do that. I was begrudgingly given a credit for the early check in since I had paid at the desk & late check out. The next day, the receptionist said that a new AC had been ordered and was due in 2 days....but if maintenance never came, HOW DID THEY KNOW IT WAS BEYOND REPAIR??? My conclusion is that they KNOWINGLY put 4 people (who would need both the bedroom and the living room for sleeping) in a room with a broken AC unit. I should have been offered a room change but I guess that was out of the question. Also, pool area had trash laying around, stepped on a maintenance cover and nearly fell in bc the cover came off. Glass window in room had HUGE crack that was taped. NEVER will stay here again.

Perfect location to go on the beach and boardwalk. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly.

Close to beach and boardwalk. Short drive to Cape May.
