Serena Boutique Hotel

The family that owns this beautiful place were the sweetest most accommodating, helpful people ever! We didn’t rent a car so they ran to the store and bought us whatever we needed, took us on a 4 hour tour, cooked amazing breakfast’s each morning. I could not have picked a better place to stay on our honeymoon! And I will be coming back every year!

Este lugar está hermoso, fue espectacular, muy especial y con mucha historia. Queremos regresar el año que viene. Nos encantó el desayuno y las hermosas vistas. Las habitaciones están preciosas y se nota que los dueños le tienen mucho amor a su propriedad. El jacuzzi no funcionó y la piscina estaba fría pero aun así pudimos disfrutar de una rica cena que los dueños nos consiguieron. Todos fueron muy amables y fue mi parte favorita de visitar en puerto Rico.

The property was beautiful and Ricardo and his family were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The pool and hot tub were so nice and relaxing. We felt like we were with friends and at home. We would recommend anyone to stay here.

This BnB was the absolute highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. The location is truly stunning: we were in the mountains, with a view down to the ocean, immersed in beautiful tropical greenery and the soothing calls of birds and frogs. I can't say enough about the absolute peace and relaxation we felt while we were there. Too, the hospitality of Ricardo and his family was superb: we felt like family as they took care of us with homecooked breakfasts, responded very quickly when the internet once went out in our room, and answered our many questions about tours. We had a great time using the huge hot tub, enjoying complimentary evening cocktails on the patio, and looking out over the views from one of the many furnished decks; even during the seasonal thunderstorms, we could sit outside on a covered patio. The property is less than an hour from SJ, but we didn't need a car as we arranged for Ricardo to pick us up from the airport: he was waiting for us as we came out of the luggage hall. We had also arranged for him to take us on a fantastic guided tasting tour of the nearby pork highway, and to drive us down to SJ at the end of our visit. In addition, he recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner, based on our tastes, and drove us there. Thanks to this lovely family for an amazing stay! I wish we could return to this BnB every year. Please note that it has recently changed its name to Serena Boutique Hotel.

If you are looking for an authentic Puerto Rican experience then this is the place for you. The caregivers of this place go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. It is up in the mountains so I recommend a 4WD vehicle. Beautiful surroundings, great breakfast and wonderful people!

The property was located in the middle of a Rainforest with a view of San Juan and the ocean. It was beautiful lots of flowers and lush greenery. Very quiet and fell asleep at night to the Coquis. Racardo and Gloria go out of the way to make you fell comfortable and welcome! Gloria breakfasts are amazing! You could not ask for a better stay if you want to experience the hospitality and the people if Puerto Rico!!!

Amazing staff, very attentive, in a beautiful location. Spacious rooms. Definitely recommend but limited places to go outside the property, but food we ate was delicious. Great for a day or two to be in nature and chill with drinks in the jacuzzi.

This place is beautiful and serene. If you’re looking for an authentic Puerto Rican getaway, this is it it’s hidden but only 20 to 30 minutes away from everything which is perfect. You can hear the coquies . The view is outstanding.
