The Garden Rooms

On arrival we were not told that room was part of two together with communal front door. Key to outside door would not work so could not lock door. When reporting this on departure we were told that due to people losing keys and keys snapping in locks that doors were now kept unlocked. We found the room very comfortable and cleanliness was good, only let down by more than a days dust on radiator in bathroom. On departure, the only person that appeared to be interested in our information about the locks was the maintenance man ( with the bad tooth). He was interested and thank you to him.

Lovely rooms with lovely garden/hot tub area. Walkable into Low Newton. Dog friendly.

Brilliant from start to finish. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. The garden rooms are superb.

Garden rooms were quirky but the decor is dark & drab. Concrete grey effect walls & ceilings ? Not sure about that Could be very good but needs more attention to detail. The hot tub’s water was minging !!! Reception in the car park for garden rooms is a bit odd. Staff were friendly. Breakfast at sister premises The Joiners Arms was excellent

Lovely overnight stay very relaxing, great facilities and would book again.

We had a great stay here for one night. The room was spotless and stylish, and also very private due to the clever use of plants outside. Would highly recommend.

Booked a one night stay as a surprise for my partner. When I booked I paid extra for a detached double with a hot tub. When we arrived the lady on reception told me she had changed my room from a detached double to a un-detached garden room as there was another couple there for a longer stay. When I explained this isn’t what I had paid for it was quickly rectified and changed back to a detached. Not the best first impression.

It was a special treat for my 40th, arrived to a beautiful room and chocolate covered strawberries. Lots of space for a family of 4 and a dog. Beautiful room and added extra of the hot tub. Great coffee, breakfast in the room, comfy beds, all we needed in the room. Only couple of niggles and would've put us off going again but the bathroom smelt and muddy area out past the decking. But excellent stay and will definitely return.

Great trip overall. Staff were lovely, place was great, possibly a little refresh of the decor needed (blind in the bathroom, decking at the front), but nothing that took away from the experience

Lovely surroundings, rooms look great but cleaning could be better, splash marks in kitchens and toothpaste marks on walls in bathroom. Glass not clean, bedding and room doesnt smell fresh
