An exceptional home, made you feel like you were at home and not in a hotel; peaceful and quiet and lovely rooms and decor, I’d stay again.

Everything was perfect

The property is absolutely stunning, and the location excellent. It was surprisingly quiet, given how near it is to the high street.

Beautiful period building in the heart of Maidstone absolutely packed with character. It even has a suit of armour in the entrance hall. Large comfortable rooms four poster beds, just beautiful. Plenty of streaming channels on the TV

I stayed on a Saturday night and because it's so close to great night life and the main road, it does get noisy outside. It was a very hot night so I had the window open. Luckily I had ear plugs so I slept like a log but it would have been a problem without.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Stone Court House for a single night but I wish it had been longer! The original structure of the hotel is 700 years old and has been incredibly well maintained and extended. It is more central than I was expecting, which was ideal for me as I had no car. I was fortunate to stay in The Judge Rigby room, and could not have been happier. The room, including ensuite, was stylish. large, very comfortable and immaculately presented. It had everything you could want: iron, toiletries, tea, coffee and tasty biscuits! However, the standouts for me were the wooden beams of the roof, the freestanding clawfoot bath and the remarkably comfortable bed. The comms before arrival from the owners, Saban and Belinda May, were welcoming and very informative, including details on how to access the hotel & room, and car parking (if required). I wish I could have stayed longer … particularly to enjoy the stately, old-world look & feel of the reception rooms … but will return in the future! I would highly recommend the Stone Court House for anyone seeking comfortable, old-world accommodation in the heart of Maidstone.

Simple to book in, very comfortable bed, quiet, good size room, everything worked as expected, very happy with my choice.

Not much really. For a double bed it was very small, perfect for me, but if their was two it would of been too small.
