I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're traveling work. It's poorly run despite looking nice in photos.
First, good luck finding this place. Apple Maps sends you to the WRONG ADDRESS on a different street, something management could easily fix. There's no signage ANYWHERE saying "Austin Condo Hotel" because that's not the hotel's name. It has another name, which you're magically supposed to know.
Don't expect a warm welcome. When I arrived at check-in, I waited a full 15 minutes while the front desk person assisted a couple in front of me with some problem. No "Hello, thanks for your patience, I'll be with you shortly." Zero hospitality here.
Good luck asking for help. If you call the hotel, you're not REALLY calling the hotel. Remote support staff rarely answers and if they do, there's a 50% chance they can assist or relay correct info. When I was lost looking for the hotel entrance, they told me to "look for the valet's red umbrellas." There was one umbrella and it was beige. Need on-site assistance? Prepare to spend 20-30 minutes going up and down a busy elevator, waiting for front desk staff to acknowledge your existence. THEN factor in time to be helped.
Valet is expensive, inconvenient, and may make you late. You can't call ahead despite shelling out $40/night. Do not ask hotel staff about valet; they don't operate it.
Street parking is tricky & inconvenient. If you're parking overnight you'll need to pay before midnight, then allot 20+ minutes each morning to go down the busy elevator before 8am, pay to park AGAIN, go BACK up the elevator, and then go down AGAIN when you're ready to leave.
Units are nice but LOUD. Even on the 28th floor, traffic noise is constant and unpleasant.
The kitchen has many things, but not a microwave, a single pot with a lid, scissors, cooking oil, or (more than 3) filters for the coffee machine. Prepare to spend a chunk of time and money shopping for apartment necessities to even make use of the apartment-style amenities. And much of it will be tossed when you leave.
The Internet is slow & unreliable. One night it shut down completely. Couldn't work on my laptop, couldn't watch TV.
One TV turns on...by itself. Every night that I've watched TV in the living room, the TV in the BEDROOM mysteriously turns on, despite that room's remote being nowhere near me.
TV channels are weeeeeird. The default channel that turns on is called Mountain Men (unclear how to change it), forcing me to watch fragile-masculinity survivalists killing small animals every time. Not great for children, vegetarians, vegans, or animal lovers --but hey it's Texas!
There is nothing of note in walking distance around the hotel. No convenience store, grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, coffee shops, culture, nightlife, or authentic neighborhood. It's literally just a tall building surrounded by parking lots, a very loud highway and a few other tall buildings with no personality or character. Kind of depressing.
Positive things to note - fantastic view, double-pane windows in the bedroom to help with noise when you sleep (but ONLY in the bedroom), comfortable mattress and linens, clean space, plentiful electrical outlets, plenty of towels, ample counter space in bathroom.
THIS IS NOT A GREAT HOTEL FOR PEOPLE TRAVELING FOR WORK!!! It's more superficially a place that has what you need. Consider an Airbnb rental with convenient, easy in-out parking and a genuinely knowledgable property contact who can accurately answer questions in a timely manner.
