Kauai Plantation Hale Suites by Coldwell Banker Island Vacations

the place is nice and well located. the apartment was ok, a little dated, but comfortable. having parking place in front of the unit is possitive, but did not like the virtual front desk experience. you receive an email with the acces codes ( we received it after arriving the property not knowing where to find the guest services office, which is the mall near the apartment, but was not easy to find), and you need to remember a 6 figure number to access the room otherwise you have to check it every time you need it. (the pool acces code is a 9 figure number). the dont offer luggage deposit, which was a problem cause our flight departed 8 pm and we had to tour the island the rest of the day with it and all our valuables with us.

Be aware the hotel does not have a traditional front desk. If you don't receive information before your trip, you will not be able to access your room. Also, they do not have an elevator so if you are on the second floor you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Also, the unit only has 1 noisy window a/c unit which is not suitable for the entire unit.

De locatie tov winkels en het strand. Alles binnen een paar minuten binnen handbereik. Het strand was erg rustig en idyllischs. Soms lag er een monniksrob op het strand te rusten. De coconut marketplace is een handige uitvalsbasis met een grote supermarkt en restaurants. Het appartement is ruim en de omgeving is prachtig.

Appartement was wat verouderd. De keukenkastjes vielen nog net niet uit elkaar. Ondanks dat het heel schoon was gaf dit een beetje een smoezelig gevoel. Er is geen housekeeping. Ik vind het normaal niet erg om zelf schoon te maken tijdens een verblijf in een appartement maar de schoonmaakmiddelen waren helaas schaars.

Plantation Hale is in a great location to explore Kauai, between Lihue and Kapa'a on the east coast. The room was clean and reasonably priced, although it was dated and showed its age. We had a problem with the shower and it was addressed promptly (within an hour). If you are looking for affordable lodging with a separate bedroom in a central location, this is a good option.

Łozka dwuosobowe byly wąskie -raczej 140. Ciezko bylo sie przekręcac. Do prania przez apkę trzeba wplacic min 10$. Mi polowa sie zmarnowala.

We needed something close to the airport for our first night upon arrival. While we were there only a short time, the keyless entry was easy and the room was very clean and comfortable. The resort is older but I think well maintained. Our room certainly would be sufficient for a longer stay. It’s a busy area and we wanted a quieter area. We did not use the pool facilities so can not comment on them.

Lovely accommodations with lots of space, and with a very comfortable bed. Great location for starting a trip to Kauai with Safeway so close, and Longs Drugs within walking distance. For beverages and food and entertainment you can walk down to the market area where the Plantation Hale staff have their office. We loved the rose-ringed parakeets that overfly the property at dawn and dusk, and the great walking access through the field in front of the facility right down to the beach. We stayed Christmas Eve into Christmas Day and the staff was very hospitable, friendly, and patient! Also, having a washer and dryer facility in every single building was great for us to wash a couple items that had gotten dirty while camping on the ground the night before.

It don’t other us too much, but the facility can seem like a large apartment complex and feel a bit impersonal.
