USUSLocation near coconut marketplace is great since you have easy access to a nice beach strip and lots of restaurants within walking distance
Traffic noise from main road that circles Kauai and daily construction noise from current renovations in adjacent building C. No staff on site and no housekeeping for a 10 day stay. This was okay for us but might bother others
USGreat location. Close to airport, shopping, beach, restaurants. Our unit was clean, updates and well equipped. BUT, it was the closest unit to the main highway that loops around the island. Like 30 feet away. The noise from the road traffic was unbearable. Our morning coffee on the balcony was miserable- my wife and I had to shout to hear each other. Make sure to ask EXACTLY on the property the unit is. Ours was E12. The lower numbers are further away from the highway.
USCouldn't figure out how to get the bedstand lights to work.
USThe staff was very responsive, and the location is relatively central - there's lots to do on the north and southwest of the island, so staying in the southeast was ideal. There's a Safeway nearby for stocking up, a Costco about 20 minutes away, and a farmers market in the morning at the coconut marketplace. There's also a really, really good drive-in joint across the street. This location beats any full-service resort.
Our AC wasnt too helpful, but once we got used to the humidity, we didnt really need it anymore!
