One South Place Hotel

We stayed at One South Place when our flight from Belize got cancelled and we needed a night in a hotel. We could not have been luckier to stay here; the entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is lovely, rooms are clean, comfortable and really well appointed with cute outdoor spaces. David was a great host and helped us settle in, suggested restaurants and arranged taxis. They made an unexpected night in Belize City a great experience.

One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable. Thanks so much for a great stay South Place! We hope to return in the future!

Peaceful stay - home way from home My recent stay at One South Place Hotel was truly exceptional. The property was impeccably clean and provided a serene, quiet atmosphere that made for a restful experience. Each night, I drifted off to sleep to the soothing sounds of the Caribbean Sea waves which were calming and peaceful. A special mention goes to Ms. Judy who was awesome. lovely owners. very kind to my sons. went out of the way to get us dinner and make sure we were safe. Staff was friendly and helpful everyone from the cleaners, to the cafe cookers, to the owners we were very well taken care of. highly recommend.

I had a terrific one night stay at One South Place. The hotel was a short walk from the water taxi terminal. I arrived early, but they had a room available for an early check in. Everyone was so friendly. I was even greeted with a hug! The room was simple, but comfortable and nicely decorated. I had a huge patio with a view of the sunrise over the sea. Hot water, wifi, and a comfortable bed on a quiet street. I could walk everywhere I wanted to go from the hotel. In the evening the person on duty gave me suggestions for walking out to go for a late dinner. It was just a lovely stay.

By far our favorite place to stay in all of Belize. Beautiful room, awesome staff, very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
