The hotel had some issue due to an upgrade to the room locks, resulting in us being locked out several times. The rooms were alright. The restaurant food was solid, but the staff left something to be desired. However, the hotel staff was amazing. They helped fix our room issues and were the redeeming quality of the stay. Special shout out to Kassim, Haneef, Betty, and Neicy. I would stay at this hotel again specifically because of them.

I like the ambience and aesthetics of the property.

I did like that our room was by the train station and we would constantly keep waking up everytime the train passed by. I also was surprised that it wasn’t a mini bar in the room and we had to call room service to get beverages.

Breakfast was delicious.

bathroom floor dirty and sticky, room rug looks so many stains. No alcohol in the draws as seen in many videos. Key card wouldn’t work had to get someone to come fix it twice.

Terrible! I booked my stay at The Morrow the first weekend of October. My stay started off great until I went to sleep and woke up covered in bites. Bed bug bites. I addressed the issue with Kingsley (Hotel Manager). He immediately moved me to another room on a different floor and stated he would look into the issue by hiring an Ecolab company to come out and inspect the room. I felt extremely uncomfortable during my stay. Even asking for a refund, which I was told could not happen without being escalated to corporate and through insurance. As I was checking out, I noticed Kingsley talking to another guest who visibly looked upset. Once Kingsley finished with the guest, I expressed again that I wanted a refund and he told me that he could not give me a refund and that the guest I seen him talking to expressed the same concerns and that she has just mistaken her bites for bed bugs but it was actually mosquitos. That moment was when I knew I was not overreacting. Not only did I have to discard a bunch of my things. I had to spend a bunch of money upon my return getting my clothes and luggage treated. My skin has permanent marks from the bites. I will not visit another Hilton hotel until this matter is addressed correctly. The manager said the ecolab report stated no bed bugs were found and when I asked for a copy, he told me he could not provide me with a copy nor a refund.

Lovely Hotel, Rooms, and Service overall! Worth every penny! Mr. Kassin and the lovely lady at the front desk attended every detail. Definitely planning on coming back!

Great hotel, but DISCLOSURE about the train noise, particularly on the 3rd -5th floors, is only fair. If you aren't from DC you might assume there would be a barrier but it's just a chain-link fence with the tracks maybe 25 feet from the building. The noise is not terrible, but it is definitely loud and difficult to sleep through if your room is on that side. I don't think it's ok for the hotel to just pretend this is not a thing when it absolutely is a major issue. At the minimum, offer guests some earplugs or maybe a white-noise machine. Personnel is great, pleasant, helpful, friendly, etc. Location is good, in room coffee service is excellent, so unusual these days. Hotel is clean and in great condition but really, just accept that it's unethical not to tell people about the train situation.
