Humbug Cottage

Absolutely fantastic accomodation - the quality of all fittings were excellent. Location and everything about the property were spot on. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.

The weather!!! LOL. Wow to be there when the sun shines would be so fantastic.....

A great quite deceivingly large property with some great old features. The standard of the fixtures and fittings are very high and the brownies on arrival were amazing. Much Wenlock is a li ely setting with pmenty of shops, cafe's and pubs.

Not a lot of storage space

Humbug cottage is beautiful, spotless clean, lovely welcome pack on arrival - home made brownies!!!! There we five of us there for a friends birthday celebration. We had some wonderful meals at the Talbot Hotel/Pub - the portions are huge. Much Wenlock is a delightful little village. We also took the bus into Shrewsbury. Don't hesitate to book this cottage it is just so lovely, warm and cosy with everything you need.

We couldn't find the recycling bins but that's the only issue.

Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of seating. Next to the church.

Stairs were a little steep.

Excellently equipped to meet all needs, lovely and clean, lovely welcome treats and basics. Good location for town and priory.

Although the majority of the time it was peaceful and quiet. Morning and evening school and work runs, made it noisy with traffic around those times. Bell ringing practice every Tuesday night, for 1.5 hours a bit intense!

Delightful! And very central. Lovely touches such as milk, tea and delicious brownies - really thoughtful host. We spoke to locals who remembered it as the sweet shop. A privilege to stay there.

It was perfect for us. It’s a tight fit for 6 though.
