Mackinac Lodge

No breakfast couldn’t figure out how to use the Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Some kind of breakfast besides coffee! For the price for two nights during the 4th of July weekend it was nice.

Upon arriving there is no sign for the hotel. It’s now apart of cabins of mackinaw. Both at check in and check out the people were not very friendly, they acted more annoyed than anything. Our door to our room was off so we had to slam it to close it. The bathroom wallpaper was half off and not updated at all. The actual room was decent and pretty cute. TV didn’t work. Won’t be staying there again

We wanted convenience to ferry and affordable. The property was a cozy little village feel. Didn't like that we couldn't stay longer. Would have loved to try the cabins.

There were spiders EVERYWHERE! It was absoulutely terrifying, and the shower pressure was subpar.

It was very quiet. I slept well. Close walk to the Starline Ferry. Its across the street. Easy bike ride to town.

No microwave. Outrageous fees for dogs. But bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Clerk at check-in was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Smelled like cat urine and mold. Bathroom needs remodeled. Good value.

The room looks like it is a camping cabin from 1970. Right down to the hanging light fixtures with cracked shades. Extremely old blue tub and shower with no grip on the bottom. The caulking around everything was molded and cracked. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, probably due to no bathroom fan. Every outlet was so loose, you can't plug anything in, the plugs fall out. The hair dryer has literally never been cleaned and had no air flow. I tried to clean it and the dust was rusted into the grate and won't come off, and smells like it's on fire. We had only 1 washcloth in our room when we arrived, and no one answered when we called so we had to walk across the parking lot in the rain to get some. Parking lot had a huge lake in the middle of it. You can hear EVERYTHING in your neighbor's room. And smell the pot they are smoking on their little porch... because you have to open the bathroom window to get any air to clear the moisture in the bathroom. One thing that was good was that the beds were comfortable and clean. Oh... and had a fridge but no microwave, so that was odd.

Liked the location and lodge interior.

Room was a bit small, no microwave, and the bed room we booked was supposed to be a king bed, definitely was not a king more like a queen.
