Mackinac Lodge

We enjoyed our stay in Mackinac city, but would not stay here again. Room had a musty/dirty smell and there was no fan in the bathroom. The whole time, the room felt moist. Looked as if mold was growing in the bathroom from no ventilation as well.

It was close to the tourist shops and restaurants

Bed was broken, box spring was crushed underneath, bathroom was extremely dated room was musty and old, no vending machines were in working order

Clean and conveniently located. Walls are a wee thin and the wireless is spotty, but overall an okay place to stay.

We were given 3 washcloths for 4 people for 3 days. We kept being told that the truck with linen didnt come. We had to go buy out own washcloths that the general store in town. Our toilet didnt flush half the time. The room was dated but clean for the most part

Our room was on the first floor which has a small deck for us to sit on and enjoy being outside. The staff was very accommodating.

Great Place many shops ferries and restaurants in walking distance. Ferries also dog friendly. Go up to Saulte St Marie checkout Soo Locks. There’s Security check when entering. No Animals however, Free to enter. Parking meters use app or quarters, constant policing for expired meters
