We enjoyed the great pool and ocean view right from our room, along with beautifully maintained surroundings. My husband also appreciated the onsite dive shop. The room was clean, with a convenient kitchenette. The food selection was limited, but overall good quality. Service was generally good as well, but a bit slow. We would stay again, and recommend to our friends and family. Thank you!

The hotel was quiet, relaxing and had everything needed for a short break away. Would recommend for solos couples and families. Snorkelling from front porch was great. Thanks to Nina and Emma at Bari for their excellent service.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced. I’ve stayed at Chogogo twice. First time I had a Deluxe Studio, which is slightly bigger. The food is typical for a resort, and reasonably priced. The staff was exceptional. Stampy at the beach bar was excellent. The tips are pooled, so I tried to tip my servers individually in cash. Their bar drinks are very reasonable price wise, cocktails about $11-$12, beer $4-$6. The water access is very convenient. The water is clear, warm, and lots of fish to view. There is a scuba shop on the property that will get you PADI certified in two days, $500.

For the most part, everything was very pleasant. We dove with Scuba Do and loved having everything onsite and the storage lockers were wonderful. I asked for a quiet room. I’m an incredibly light sleeper. We were given room on ground floor directly in front of water slide/lazy river so the exact opposite of a quiet room. I was woken up EVERY SINGLE MORNING just after dawn to the hotel maintenance crew preparing for the day. There was ZERO privacy and people could literally see right in our room as they floated by. Pretty disappointing to be honest. The room itself was very comfortable and the requested blankets and extra pillows were waiting. There is very little storage and no luggage racks in the room so that was bit of a struggle but not unmanageable. We did love the pool and the proximity to town as well as having a few great restaurants within walking distance. Even though they sell day passes to cruise ships, we were in pool twice when passes were sold out and it did not feel overcrowded. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. The food was decent. As an American, I am definitely not used to being surrounded by cigarette smoke especially while eating so that was not my favorite but that seems to be the norm on any of the Dutch islands. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel and we would definitely consider staying again.

This resort was amazing! The staff were super friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. We had an ocean view that was marvelous and we got to see the sunset any time we were in the room for it--otherwise, the view from the beach bar was the better option anyways. We also ate at Bina, which is their upscale restaurant and it was one of our favorite meals of the whole trip. We'll definitely be coming back again in the future and staying at Chogogo.

Gorgeous place! Didn’t like only 1 pillow per person and lack of extra sheet or bal let. WiFi was good. Kitchenette nice to have. Three dining options to choose from. Lazy river fun for adults and kids.
