Chogogo Dive & Beach Resort Bonaire

Location: Great location, close to town. Rental cars available on-site at good rates ($50 to $60/day). Staff: Most staff were very approachable and attentive. Less so at main restaurant. Room: Very clean. Had a musty smell coming from A/C unit. No microwave. No soap in showers. Good elevators. Beach: Mostly rocky, so bring water shoes. Great snorkeling within 10 feet of the beach. Restaurants: Food at main restaurants was average at best. The fine dining restaurant was expensive but really top notch. A must experience. Service was good at beach bar and excellent at fine dining restaurant. Drinks were good.

Beautiful resort, clean, great facilities, food and drink options were really good, private beach was great for snorkeling, scuba diving onsite with great staff. Maggie was amazing with us. It was easy to rent a car with them which we loved so we could easily explore the island. Great communication with any questions we had. We also got a nice treat for our honeymoon.

Fantastisch, geweldige plek! Mooi hotel,prachtig zwembad. Fijne terrasjes , heerlijk aan de zee. Paradijs!

Schöne Anlage, sauber, Tauchschule innerhalb Resort, schöne dive-side direkt am Hausriff (Achtung: auch zum schnorcheln sind Wasserschuhe empfohlen).

Sehr auf „do it yourself“ ausgerichtet. Smoothies sind keine echten Smoothies mit echten Früchten, sondern nur Wasser mit Fruchtsirup. Hauscleaning alle 3Tage ist grundsätzlich ok, aber in unserem Fall einen Tag bevor wir auschecken war weniger sinnvoll.

De lazy zwembad was heel leuk.

Nice resort. Nice room and ocean view patio. AC worked well and you need it in Bonaire when the temp reaches the upper 80s F. Small fridge and cooktop were really useful. And the shower was awesome! The lazy river is a cool feature on the property. Easy access to Bari Reef which is a really great snorkel area and one of the few super easy entry points on the island. Overall, we would strongly consider staying here again.

For all this property does well, they were lacking some really simple things. For example, we didn't have hand soap in the bathroom sink and were told to just use the soap dispenser from the shower. We also had no hand towels and were told to use the cook-top rag/towel. No big deal but it seems silly to have such a nice room and property and whiff on simple things like this.

Very beautiful resort, right on the water with three restaurants and beautiful turquoise water. Rooms are very roomy and clean.

Our first trip to Bonaire was all about the diving and it did not disappoint. But what really surprised us was how wonderful the Chogogo Resort turned out to be. I had done a little research before booking, but I have to say that everything about Chogogo exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic, a perfect beachfront property. The pool, restaurant, rooms and staff were terrific and very helpful. The on-site restaurants were excellent, with very reasonable pricing, so much so that we ended up having many of our meals on the property. We booked the "Sleep, Drive, and Dive" package, which was also a great experience. The ScubaDo dive shop located on the property was great, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The truck included in the package from Chogogo was brand new, and made getting around the island a breeze. I can’t say enough good things about this place, and I’ll definitely be booking again as soon as I can.

Resort was perfect! Staff friendly rooms spacious and equipped with everything you’ll need including a pretty stock kitchen area. AC great! ( yes we brought bar soap and a hand towel). You need euro plug converter. Pool and lazy river very nice. Beach area is lovely. Plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas with good snorkeling right there. Drink service offered. Entrance to water is rocky but water beautiful. 3 restaurants ,we ate at sunset. It was good. Rented our car right at chogogo so convenient. Definitely need a car to see the island . Can’t wait to return!!
